We had a one night stop over in a standard room. This is a 15 year old high rise with 2 towers and 7 floors, with views across the road, park and the beach. There is an underground car park accessed from the back of the building and lifts bought us up to the 5th floor. Our motel style room...

We booked a Luxury Escapes package that accommodated in this hotel. The Ocean View room was spacious and offered the promised view. Well appointed, good facilities, comfy king size bed, balcony with a drying rack and high table with two stools to enjoy the view. Secure undercover parking. A kilometre to town along the breakwall walk was a pleasant walk....

Booked a two-bedroomed apartment for a long weekend, unfortunately the one where temperatures in Port Macquarie hit high 30s. We stayed in apartment 205.2 - second floor and I would not really recommend it for the price. Although the apartment is certainly large, there is only one aircon unit in the main living area which was really struggling to seem...

Thank you for feedback. I'm sorry that your stay did not measure up to your expectations. The recent heatwave unfortunately did not make for very pleasant conditions. Normally the sea breeze takes the sting out of the hot conditions. We will also add the carpet stretching to our maintenance schedule.

We loved our two bedroom ocean view apartment, with very generous living areas and three balconies it was the perfect accommodation for a long weekend. The king size beds were so comfortable, and the square shower head was luxury. The only negative for the apartment that would have been completely uncontrollable be the Obersavtory was how slippery the balcony tiles...

Thank you Jane for your lovely review and kind words. Thank you as well to alerting us to the slippery balcony tiles in the humidity. This is something we weren't previously aware of and will pass the information on to our housekeeping staff.

Arrived on 8th February and stayed 3 nights.Check in was easy with everything ready to go. On site parking made things very easy. Room was Hotel style with a balcony and views of the ocean across the road. Room was a good size with air conditioning that worked well. Fridge was a small bar fridge but we got by. Now...

Was given a room with a balcony looking towards the water, nice outdoor setting on the balcony but not sure why the balcony was enclosed with slatted glass panels, whilst allowing the flow of air it was visually not very attractive when looking towards the water. The room was a little bit small but functional. Nice being able to lie...

Stayed in a hotel room for a long weekend visit. We had a room on the 6th floor with a great view over the beach. The room has a great verandah with table and chairs, perfect for taking in the views with a drink! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended for the...

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment . It was large in size, complete kitchen, large balcony with ocean views. All in all it was a great stay (hotel has an indoor pool too). My only criticism would be that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom and a touch pricey.

Thankyou for your review. I'm pleased you had a great stay. Normally our ocean view rooms have sufficient sea breeze, along with the living room air conditioning to adequately cool the entire apartment however the particularly hot weather did cause people some discomfort. I apologise for that. Also, it is worth looking out for the many specials we run from...

Really enjoyed our week in Port Macquarie, the Observatory was the perfect place to stay, great location and well appointed room. We stayed in a hotel style room and the view of the coastline was fantastic, staff were very professional and would definitely come back again.
