Great location in Port. Views of beach beautiful to wake up to each day. Travelled with friend and our daughters. Indoor pool and spa were clean and well maintained, however being summer an outdoor pool was missed.

Thank you for your great review Natalie. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately our pool is indoors which has its advantages at certain times. Otherwise we do have Town Beach across the park. Hopefully we can look after you again in the near future.

We stayed at The Observatory over Christmas and into the new year. Loved the layout, location and facilities, especially the swimming pool, sauna and BBQ. The BBQ area is kept very clean and the maintenance person deserves a nod for installing his own private BBQ as a backup for guests to use when the BBQ for the complex stopped working...

We only had one night here unfortunately but it was a great stay. The hotel is well placed, right across from a gorgeous beach and meandering paths. Also just around from the Bowling Club, which normally only provide a basic sort of meal, but this one was excellent! The hotel provides secure underparking-be careful of height of your car if...

We stayed here on our way to Byron from Sydney and again on our way back from Byron to Sydney. The best apartments are the ones on the higher floors. We stayed on level 6 and on level 2. There's only aircon in the living room. Only fans in both bedrooms. On level 6, the fans are ceiling fans. On...

I'm so sorry you weren't able to enjoy your stay with us during the recent heat wave. Normally our design and northerly does provide sufficient sea breeze throughout the apartment. We are unfortunately limited in our ability to install air conditioning in all bedrooms due to the concrete wall construction. Most of our apartments do now have ceiling fans to...

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment with ocean views. It was perfect for a family (2 adults and 2 kids) as well as my friend who stayed in the third bedroom (hotel room with en-suite). We had a huge balcony - perfect for entertaining and morning breakfasts. We didn't need to use the air-conditioning as the natural coastal breezes provided...

This was a lovely apartment with all comforts and facilities required. The small balcony was great for breakfast and sundowners and the views were excellent. The complimentary bottle of wine and delicious handmad chocolates were much appreciated, lovely extras. Bed was so comfy and we enjoyed a couple of peaceful nights rest. We'd love to come and stay here again.

Stayed four nights in early December. Staff were helpful. There was a problem with the airconditioning in our room and we were moved to an apartment. The original room and the apartment were both well-furnished and very clean with great bathrooms. We had great views over the beach. The location is right opposite the beach and just a short 15...

The Observatory is a fabulous location. The reception area for these units is far too small/ way inadequate. We waited over 2 hours just to get into our unit....and in line for over 10 minutes just to get a towel for the pool. The units are ridiculously priced, we paid $1800 for five nights! I originally booked a unit "garden...

This is our second stay at the observatory. Overall it was a great stay but our two issues were: We arrived about 1240pm on a Thursday which we know is early for checkin, but we thought we'd try our luck, unfortunately we tried to checkin and our room wasn't ready, but instead of prioritising our room knowing we were already...

Well appointed clean but midsized rooms with an ocean view (if you get one) and balcony. Comfortable bed, clean linens. Modern bathroom, entry area washer and dryer. Underground secure parking. Short walk to beach, not so close to the port section of town which has more restaurants and port harbour views.
