As other reviews have noted, this motel is not the latest, but it is very well location. A very short stroll to the beach, next to the entertainment centre and 5 mins walk to some of Wollongong's best restaurants. It's got everything you need, inc a stove! Plenty of light, off street parking, super friendly management and staff. It was...

The kitchenette and bathroom looked liked the originals from the 50's. Badly needed a renovation. Bed was comfortable. Close to CBD and free parking. Service was not friendly. Stairs dilapidated, walls thin and some of the flooring in the kitchen was rotten. Expensive for what you got.

Well located is the best I can say about this place. Oh yeh & it's always good to know when your neighbour is showering. Desperately screaming out for a total facelift! Grotty, noisy, very uncomfortable beds, kitchen ... seriously!?

Now that Wollongong the Brave is well on the way to reinventing itself as a Tourist Destination and Conference Central, you'd think all the 1970s gems would have been swept away in the Tide of Progress. Think again dear reader! At City Beach Motel you'll find not just the ghost but the reality of holidays past! Oh the joy of...

Extremely good value for money and great customer service from all staff members. A room was warm, very clean and equipped with good facilities including a kitchenette. Reception was open for long hours and it was very near to the beautiful city beach. Also very near to the train station, free shuttle service, restaurants and shopping centre.

We stayed here for the second time. Close to beach, brewery and entertainment centre. They have parking but on a first in for first served basis. A little expensive for the standard of room however the location makes up for it. Definitely would stay there again

We made two phone calls to the motel to clarify our visit and requests were agreed to. Upon arrival were met with overpowering room deodoriser, obsolete kitchen, filthy utensils and toaster, broken dangerous gas stove. Old tired bathroom floor tiles needed a good scrub. Bedding was comfortable however something in the bed caused discomfort bed bugs!. Have used this method...

Room was excellent, bed very comfortable. Room was on 2nd floor, which was hard for me as I have trouble climbing stairs. Bathroom was spacious, but with a shower in the bath, it was hard for a person with limited mobility to have a shower.

Very close to win stadium and ideal for the budget conscious. This motel has an older style with retro feel. Also close to the beach and beach side walks, CBD, restaurants and bars. Stayed in a family room with a basic kitchen. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
