We shared a room with two female frinds of mine. The place had everything we need not less not more: clean, not too noisy, central, sympathetic staff. A usual backpackers feeling, relax and easy going.

Despite multiple signs stating alcohol is prohibited on this premises I found a group of long term guests totally disregarded management and drank on the balcony outside the rooms every night. The management turned a blind eye to this as the person in charge of the morning shift would remove the bottles and cans first thing as I believe it...

There was limited accommodation available in Coolangatta for some reason when I stayed so I ended up in this backpackers hostel. It was busy but not too noisy, and very accessible to local attractions. It could have done with a very good clean and a fix up of lots of small things than needed attention. It was relatively expensive for...

Here is a cosy little place with the emphasis on communal, where downstairs you can mix & mingle in the public bar with some of the rougher locals (if you really want to). More for the younger set, especially surfing types.

Went to the hostel to spend a few days and ended up staying almost two months. The location is incredible. You just cross the road and find yourself in one of the best surfspots in the world and a beautiful beach to chill. Most of the people on the hostel are longterms but everyone new is welcome to hang out...

It's a nice place, great location, clean bedroom and cool people. Could be better if there was a breakfast. The price is fair to staying in front of the Beach. Excelente for a backpacker or a single traveller.

This was one of the worst hostel experience in my entire life. When I checked in around 1pm and came to the room, my bed looked like no one changed the bed linen after the previous person left. There was mess everywhere, the locker was dirty, too. I have to admit they had a brilliant idea to put the power...

my boyfriend and i stayed in a private room for 9 nights. The kitchen was dirty and so badly organised, we had cockroaches in our room and the staff didnt really seem to care. Our food got thrown out for apparently not having a label on it (it defo did), when brought up with management (the most useless person ever)...
