Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great motel, close to the information centre, town and easy to get back on the road. The rooms are really clean, loads of space and the bed is fantastic - more comfortable than mine at home. Highly recommend.

Awsome motel. Thank you for the stay. I called the day early to warn the Barkley Highway was close due to bushfire, gentleman was very helpful and understanding. Rooms were very new and clean. The 24hr check was easy and great laundry facilities. Tha k again I felt welcomed and safe.

Superb. Digital check in worked well. Superbly equipped brand new facility. Great kitchen , great bathroom comfortable bed. Many pillows. Nice outdoor setting for units 15 and 16. Watch the step in the middle of the room, illuminated at night. Pity that you can’t read by the bed lamp

Spotless, well equipped motel room in a lovely quiet spot yet easy access to town. Even has a kichenette and full sized fridge/freezer. Would certainly stay there again. Very helpful staff who found a room for us after a stuff up by Booking.com

Our 4 night stay in the Copper city motel was a very pleasant stay. the rooms are very modern and clean . we stayed in a studio and it was a bit small for one night or 2 is great but longer it was a bit crammed but would stay there again. You do check in with mobile phone number and the same with the rooms and the laundry. Once you know how its so easy and very secure and safe. The area was very good close to everything. we loved mt isa you saw the mine and chimney stack wherever you went in the city. Unfortunately we were there at the end of the season so the underground hospital museum was closed and the mine tour etc. But we still found plenty to do and see in Mt Isa. the information centre was great had a great coffee shop we had linch there very nice. you could go and see the rock colection etc all in the information centre. The season is March to early October. is the best time to go. it was in the 40 degrees when we were there. just out of Mt Isa there is the Mary Kathleen mine it is worth going to the road is a bit rough but lots of history and we so glad we did it. we also went to Lake Moondarra about 17 ks north of the city. you can have picnics and swim in the lake etc it was a beautiful spot. worth going to.The copper city motel has no reception its all done online or over the phone and then you check in on a screen at the motel.

What an amazing motel. Automated check in that we found easy to use, and we are getting on. You get a code instead of a key which was easy for us, Clean, modern, quality linen and towels. Small kitchenette so easy to fix breakfast and we even cooked dinner on hot plates that were in the cupboard. Rooms serviced daily. Laundry on site. Just perfect.

Stayed for 1 night while in Mount Isa for meetings. Any time the word “motel” is in the title I approach with caution.. I was pretty impressed with this place. I arrived early and the housekeepers bent over backwards to get me in my room early. No reception or onsite management, check in and checkout via a kiosk which was easy to use. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

This place is awesome! I LOVED that my door key was a code! As I am someone who does a fair bit of travel with my employment, this was genius as I am constantly locking my self out of my room or accidentally leaving town with the room key. Laundry facilities was very handy, the room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! Definitely worth 5 stars!!!

This motel is very clean, has everything you need, and an air con that is actually big enough for the size of the room. This would have to be in our top 5 motels that we have stayed in. The renovations are beautifully done, the soaps are really nice. A full size fridge, which is an added bonus. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower is great. Parking right at the door, easy check in.
