Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

First time visiting Tasmania, Launceston first stop and time staying at a Peppers location. Arrived after an early flight to be greeted with a huge smile and warm welcome from the guy at reception which I didn’t write down his name unfortunately however was super helpful with ideas to do until our room was ready. Filled in our morning and returned to properly check in, room was wonderful, spacious, clean and the bed absolutely amazing to sleep in. All staff both housekeeping and at reception had a smile and greeted us warmly upon passing, hotel is in the best location with fabulous food restaurants at hand and in walking distance of the cbd and attractions. Super impressed, so much so we have cancelled our other accommodation at the end of our trip here in Launceston and re booked here to stay for our final 2 days from the 24th April. Management should be very proud of their staff here and service they provide.

Brilliant location, aspect and size. Easy walk into the city centre. Good riverside views. The apartment was clean and well set up. The restaurants down stairs more than overcame that there was no room service. When in Launceston, this is a brilliant place to stay.

My husband and I just left Launceston after staying 5 nights at Peppers Seaport. We had great experience . First of all , we got complimentary upgrade to a Marina Suite, which was unexpected but very nice. Location ,view, service ,all was top notch. Located in the new Seaport development, about 10 min. Walk to city centre and very close to highway for day trips to tamar Valley to enjoy wine and food and to Low Head to see penguins . Thanks to Peppers Team and particularly to a front desk manager.

Peppers Seaport Launceston is located in a great spot, with a number of great restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious. Our river view suite had a balcony overlooking the water, which was lovely to sit on for an afternoon drink, and watch the rowers on the river. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We were from the UK, touring Tasmania and stayed here twice. The rooms were really comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. The first time we came there had been an error with the type of room (we'd asked for twin beds) and the staff did everything that they could to put things right. If we go back to Tas we'll certainly stay here again.

We stayed in a room not a suite. It was cramped with unusual furniture placement. No restaurant in hotel. Parking was challenging. The view was of a car dealership and highway noise was bad. Cleaning poor and a mould smell. Some staff great and others not.

Nice hotel, large rooms, views of the river and also 10 ish minutes walk to town. It is easy to walk on the river boardwalk to Stillwater and to the Peppers Silo hotel for dinner or lunch. The downside is the doof doof music from the restauro/bar downstairs which is way too loud and goes on all night. That was a big negative for me-travellers value sleep.

Great place to stay overlooking the harbour with cafe on ground level and excellent restaurants close by. Rooms are large with full kitchen, lounge and balcony. Bedroom was lovely with comfy bed and the bathroom had a decent sized shower with all the bells and whistles. There was a little noise around 7.30am with trucks on main road but not overly annoying. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends

We were a family group and booked 3 river view rooms. Perfect location with a a number of good quality restaurants at your door step. Car parking although not included was available and the hotel provided a very reasonable flat rate for our stay. Everything was great, comfortable beds, very clean and spacious.
