This is my second visit to Fiona's B&B. Had a very pleasant experience the first time - but the second time the wifi isn't working, and tried calling their number as shown at the front of the reception but never got a response. Also the room that was assigned were smelly with really old carpets. Overall good place for a...

We were a little disappointed on arrival as it appeared the room had not been used for a number of days and with the windows left open there was a film of dust over all the surfaces and glassware. Despite that the room was huge and only a very short walk into the heart of the City. We were there...

Used to be our usual place of accommodation when visiting Launceston, but changed venues when this place quickly went down hill after change of owners. Returned recently to see if things had changed, sadly nothing has. Place is badly in need of a good spruce up, (ie) gardens, paint, decor of rooms. We feel that the place is overpriced for...

Great rooms and well appointed for the traveler wanting a stay over. Also good for longer stayers. Close to the centre of town with all types of shops and eateries to visit. Cooked breakfast done in front of you while you wait. Friendly couple running the B&B. Highly recommend for the comfort of staying and closeness to the shops.

We stayed at Fiona's B&B for a couple of nights while travelling around Tasmania. The first time you arrive it is can be a little hard to find, because the grounds are not actually visible at all from the street - a narrow driveway runs past the house at the front and the drive opens up behind the house. Once...

I stayed in 'The Loft' for one night for a business visit to Launceston. The room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and looked forward to the smell of cooking bacon wafting up from downstairs in the morning. The full breakfast (included in room price) was not quite as good as the previous visit, but definitely good...

We only had 2 nights here , good points , close to walk down the hill to town , plenty of dinner/food options close by. Rooms were fine , a little dated/tired but you are not paying Hilton prices . Neat and tidy , reasonable brekky included , was good for our family of 5

Comfortable, cosy room and very good breakfast in a great location for easy access to central Launceston attractions. Steep driveway for those without a car and it is very dark at night, especially for late arrivals when reception is closed.
