Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the king spa suite is spacious, good for a night away. spa is big enough for two, the double shower was to die for with the water pressure being amazing! the floors in the bathroom are heated so very luxurious when getting out of the shower. our only thing we could fault was the bed, it was very firm and hard to get comfy, but the pillows were very fluffy and the bed was warm. 4/5 ⭐️

This hotel is at 20min from the Launceston airport and near a supermarket and shops.
The room is ok. It's not far from the road so we can hear cars.
There is a caffee to have dinner and very close "Toast " to have breakfast.
The gazolin station is not far too.
Wifi is also in the room

Stayed in this accommodation for 3 nights last July 1-4, 2023.
The place is nice and tidy. The shower is good.
There's a pub just next to the motel which I found very convenient for drinks and to order food. Few meters within the vicinity (IGA, laundry mat).
Parking is free :)

Reception was closed, so had to check-in at the sports bar. No issue there.
The room was in excellent condition. Very clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom looked recently renovated. The shower was as good as any I've had even in 5 star hotels. For the price, it was excellent value.
There's an IGA right next door, and bottle shop, and an Uber will cost about $12-$14 to get into Launceston.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently, wasn't really sure what to expect. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, the reception staff and the cleaning staff went out of their way to help this exhausted traveler who had been travelling all night from Perth check in as quickly (and early) as possible. My "apartment" was lovely, clean, bright and had everything I could have possibly needed and more. The restaurant staff were very friendly, food was nice and the prices reasonable. Location was fantastic, just a short drive into the CBD and some lovely touristy places. I am originally from Tassie, but live in Perth now. I would definitely recommend the Olde Tudor and would not hesitate to book it again. Outstanding! Thank you to all the staff who were just lovely :)

Beef & Guinness Pot Pie, sounds nice? Not the reality! A few little bits of tough beef in a weak gravy with a little carrot & lots of onion. Top that with a piece of tough pastry, add some dry grated carrot, some dry green leaves & a couple of pieces of pale tomato! Oh and a lot of chips. I didn’t complain, diners shouldn’t have to, the kitchen should know the quality of food they are sending out to diners.
Not at all enjoyable, not recommended.

Stayed on Thursday night in a lovely refurbished room. Great service from reception staff. Unexpected circumstances saw us requiring accomodation on the Saturday night. We rang late in the evening on our way to Launceston after reception had closed, but the two girls (one who was new) went over and beyond to ensure we had accommodation for the night. We once again stayed in a refurbished room and both occasions the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thank you to the staff for helping us out at such short notice, it was very much appreciated.

I recently stayed with my daughters. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was very outdated big gap in front door where the cold breeze came through, filters in heat pump filthy stains on the couch hairdryer cord wires exposed , electric blanket cord wires exposed cups and bowls that were chipped. Hole in the bathroom door that needs repairing . We had a meal in the restaurant which was very under rated the ladies in the bar/restaurant were absolutely lovely. Was unable to use the pool as there was a number 2 floating in there 💩 when we informed staff it was just scooped out and the pool covered over in a time of covid I thought there would be better cleaning practices? Check in was woeful so didn’t even bother on checkout we just left sadly not to return.
Anyone thinking of staying here DONT

Stayed a few times now & have always been very satisfied, this time no different. Most comfortable & very reasonable priced. Comfortable bed & pillows, good working heater. Toaster & kettle in room, no milk supplied this time but was supplied with it when requested. Wonderful shower head, plenty of hot water

Fantastic location and facilties. All meals very tasty and value for money. We dined mid week lunchtime and was moderately busy but staff were very attentive. Kids neal had what i think was a huge slice if pizza and all meals had more than ample sierving size. Internal playground a bonus for the kids.
