Stayed here are couple of nights because I was working in Geelong. The place was tidy but in desperate need of renovating or detonating. The people running it were very friendly and I got the feeling that they were probably facing a up hill battle trying to keep the place functioning, like Basil Fawlty from Fawlty Towers.

Went and checked out this motor inn before I booked and I think all the reviews I read previously are outdated ... it's very tired and quite old and rundown and I chose not to stay there and payed extra and stayed at the Mecure which was $80 dearer but included breakfast and I was very happy I would not... Was woken up by fellow people staying in motel. The paper think walls made it very difficult to block out the yelling and revelry. The balcony was the only way to access the upstairs rooms and the front door provided little sound proofing. I could hear the entire conversations of both rooms near me. If you want to have a... This was not the first time we have stayed here, and we were similarly impressed with the obliging, helpful owners; and the comfortable, clean and quiet room - despite being on a main road, close to the city. The room had been updated, and the bathroom was better in layout.

Comfy beds, clean room, despite being roadside the noise was minimal. Staff were friendly and helpful letting us leave our backpacks in reception while we went into Geelong on the day we checked out. Good hotel for the price we paid. Would return.

Stayed in front room, facing Aberdeen St. Extremely noisy with early morning traffic. Attempts to modernise dated bedroom with makeover that included a new mattress that was like sleeping on a hard floor. 'Free Wi Fi' was unstable and unusable. Power points hanging out from wall. Very outdated bathroom in need of some basic maintenance. Car parking is limited and... More

We had a great stay & only minor improvements would make this 5 star. The linen was great and cleanliness 5 star, great locale & super price with free parking. Minor detractors were missing light bulbs, no light in tea/coffee area & the door lock was lack luster which didn't make me feel safe to leave laptop. Also, I didn't... More

This motel has a very good location, by train only few minutes walking distance. Close to Pakington street, town centre. Walking distance to water front and Simons Stadium. The owner is very friendly. Gave us a map and lots of information about Geelong. It is a old motel but has been well maintained. I love the cleanness of the room,... More

To pay a decent price I'd rather pay a little bit more to go somewhere better. Beds were uncomfortable and after driving from Brisbane to Geelong over 2days all I wanted was a comfy bed. Quite run down place too, and not the best customer service from the staff.

The owner is very unkind, the room and the bathroom is old fashioned and very small, window in the bathroom wasn't closable. The street was noisy. The guests in the neighbour rooms celebrated parties, which was loud. In our opinion is this the worst Motel which we have had in our 6-week-Holiday in Australia.
