Really glad we stayed here. It's a very spacious cottage with separate bedroom, large bathroom and enormous lounge/diner with separate kitchen off. The cottage included fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities and a breakfast pack (even though described as self catering). Very clean, communal heated swimming pool, hot tub/ spa. It's in a beautiful Rural location on the edge of...

Stayed 2 nights on our road trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Wished we had more time here as it's beautiful. The location is stunning, although slightly out of town and you need a car to get back and forward. The cottage is very well appointed with a large living, dining, kitchen area with all mod cons. Lovely bedroom and large...

We stopped here overnight on our drive from Melbourne ultimately to Sydney. Lakes Entrance itself had not really impressed us on arrival, and the less than positive mood that this had engendered persisted here. Yes the 'chalet' was spacious and comfortable enough, but there were rather too many "dos and don'ts" for the class of accommodation that we had been...

My children and I loved saying at Waverley house cottage. From the moment we arrive we felt welcome and at peace. Our cunninghame cottage was beautiful, with our hosts Jan and rob even providing a continental breakfast for the next day. The location of the cottages is perfect, just minutes away from the town of lakes entrance. My girls loved...

Thank you Alison - it was a pleasure to be your host and hear the happy laughter coming from the pool. We also appreciated the lovely poem and drawings left in the cottage guestbook. My hardworking staff also love it when they come into a cottage to find these appreciative comments and the cottage facilities left as you would hope...

Good location, spacious cottage. We were expected, the key was waiting at reception. The kitchen is well equiped but need a thorough cleaning: greasy surfaces of hood and refrigerator; used cleaning sponges and a smelly dishcloth. The floors felt sticky

We were surprised to read of some cleaning issues in the kitchen as our staff do take pride in presenting each cottage as best they can (sometimes with constant changeovers or where guests have left a shocking mess there isn't time to do more than a surface clean of less accessible spots like the hood etc) However although it wasn't...

We stayed in Salmon cottage for 5 nights. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had all amentities. The location of the cottages was very good quiet and tranquil although there were very few other guests. We did order the seafood platter and it was so disappointing we had to discard the seafood extender that comprised most of the platter....

Thank you for your review Vicki - I'm surprised you thought there were few other guests - quite busy all the time you were here, but the privacy provided by our large property does give that impression! I am sorry the seafood platter was disappointing - to be honest I did not personally see what was delivered from the Co-op...

We stayed here for two nights and wish it could have been longer. I also would have liked to take the cottage home to live in. They are in a fabulous spot with great views. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. There isn't a cooker but there's a hob and a convection microwave so all bases are...

Just outside the town, this accommodation is run by a very pleasant young man. Eager to help and cooks a "mean" breakfast. Great views greet you as you drive down a fairly steep track to the cottages, however if like us you meet a "herd" of kangaroos the drive is an added bonus. This accommodation delivers everything you need in...

This is a good review but it does not describe our cottages?!! We are not a B & B so do not provide cooked breakfast, our cottages are not down a steep track nor is it likely you will see kangaroos. I hope I am pleasant but definitely female and "young" is gilding the lily too!! We are near Lakes...

We had one of the cottages which was very well fitted out with everything that one could want, with one exception - the lack of adequate heating! We visited in Sept and the cottage was very cold overnight and in the morning. While there was an aircon unit blowing warm air in the main room, the heat didn't reach the...

I'm sorry you felt the cold - the split system is very efficient and usually is sufficient for the whole cottage. The cottages are fully insulated and curtains are blockout when drawn. We can make an additional heater available for the bedroom/bathroom if it is needed - we wished you had asked.

We booked the two bedroom, Bass Cottage for a catch up with our son and his partner. Check in was a breeze. The cottage was well appointed, very clean and had everything we required. The spa was lovely, the grounds beautiful and plenty of fire wood was provided. Would definitely return.

“Salmon cottage is great for a couple.”

“Tips: bring your own milk, coffee, bread, butter, spray oil -for pans- and more toilet paper as they only provided two rolls for a family of 3 for our stay. There isn't an oven, so don't buy a roast, or anything else you need to use an oven for. But the rest of the kitchen (stovetop -electric- microwave, toaster and kettle is in perfect working order, and there is enough pots and pans and utensils for you to cook plenty of other things with). The heating/cooling system is great! Being winter, we used the heating and it heated the whole cottage fine. The beds have electric blankets on them and there are extra blankets in the cupboards.”
