When we arrived at this motel, my wife went to reception to pick up the room key. Lady on reception was very rude and unwelcoming.. We went to the room and first thing we noticed was how outdated it was. Secondly it had one PowerPoint for the fridge, kettle and anything else you wanted to plug in. It had a...

My two week stay at the Captain's Lodge International was delightful. The service was fantastic, the meals were even better, took me back to the European home cooked meals my mother used to make. I enjoyed my stay with Elisabeth and Alex immensely.

Sorry to say, but this is a very sad and worn out motel. The shower floor was so uneven with broken tiles which came out of the '70's. I wasn't game to have a shower, I needed my toes in working order. If a few bob was spent on this motel, it would and could be a great place, it...

While the place definitely needs renovations, we loved that it was well back from the road and set around beautiful gardens with a lovely pool area in the centre. You have two entrances, one from the carpark and one from the garden area. The bed was new and very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and we enjoyed great food...

I got what I paid for in terms of money value. The room was very old fashioned and the floor showed some wear and tear, and the bathroom didn't feel right. If it wasn't for the flatscreen LCD tv in the room, I would have thought it was the 1960's. The motel also lacked wifi, which seems to be the...

We stayed on Friday night and management let us come in at midday to get ready for our appointment, thank you. We found the unit very clean, everything worked and bed very comfortable. The grounds and gardens are maintained, looked very good with the swimming pool full. Motel is in a great position, well back from the main road, could...

Always ready to take a chance but this one didn't pay off. Very nice hosts but I don't think they have the heart for the modern hospitality industry. The room was so old and the toilet was the original installed (not pun intended) in the 60's. We couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower. Breakfast , well what can I...

Hotel is cheap our bed was comfortable. The lock on the front door was dodgy had a lot of problems getting in. The base of the shower filled up with water wasn't draining properly. Our UHT milk given for our coffee was off didn't know UHT milk went off. Breakfast was frozen bread, fruit juice and cereal. Hotel rooms need...

Arrived at reception with our confirmed booking only to be told that she did not have it. Got room anyway as place was empty. Paid $95 (she actually said 95 bucks) to then be told that it would only be Continental breakfast as it was too cold for her to cook in the morning. Room heater was terrible, went to...
