Ok firstly this resort is run by two companies, Broadwater and Nesuto. Nesuto were $100 per night cheaper for a two bed apartment and for me $50 per night cheaper for a premier studio via Expedia, So I've just been ripped off..!! if you have to stay here DO NOT stay in a ground floor studio. Broadwater managed mine and Nesuto managed the apartment above me. The entrance to upstairs is via a common entry point with exceptionally load doors, so every time upstairs goes in and out the heavy doors slam (twice) and I mean SLAM..!! All you can hear when someone's upstairs is thump thump thump and the sound of chairs dragging across their tiled floors. It is horrendous.... $200 per night for hell...!! total rip off.. I did complain to the management who were very helpful and did offer to move me to a single story studio but it was a basic room and Id already paid for the premium. Maybe if they'd offered my a refund of the difference Id have moved. As the upstairs apartment was managed by Nesuto they couldn't really do much.. The room itself was ok, for a premium studio there was no way of cooking anything. Small kitchen that served almost no purpose, A small electric hotplate would have been useful. $200 pn and you still have to go out for dinner. The complimentary WIFI was not high speed. 4,5mbsp which was ok but not if your trying to steam high quality TV or you have kids on their devices. Room wasn't serviced, Ran out of complimentary coffee and shampoo. The resort is nice, there's no doubt about it, the pools fantastic only solar heated so still a bit cold, probably wouldn't be able to swim in the winter, the spa wasn't heated, apparently it broke but it should be fixed immediately. The BBQs are nice and clean, when I went though the utensils were all dirty with no clean ones to use. The location is good, Probably a 20 - 30 mins stroll into town. But we had a push bike and electric scooter so it was good fun along the ocean walk. From our point of view we would never stay here again, but if we did we would book through Nesuto. At least compare the two. I dont really feel comfortable having two companies managing the same resort.…
This is a great place to stay.Fantastic receptionist and service The hotel was excellent for meals and service Highly recommend Husband left wallet behind and receptionist was waiting out on the roadside with it for us
We really enjoyed our 2 nights at this accommodation the rooms had everthing you needed. The swimming pool and bbq area was great, parking a bit tight if you have 4wds. It was a very comfortable stay whilst in Geraldton.
Great trip for the family this time of the year. Not to much wind and the water is great. One shop everyone must go to is on 5 Bayly St, Geraldton. It’s a small Pawn Broker which has all sorts of things. We bought some cheap fishing rods and the owner Adam riged them up for us. A really cool shop. Body boards and beach gear if you’re after anything like that. The pink lakes are also a great day out. The mid west of WA is such a beautiful area to travel.
We stayed here for a couple of days. Rooms well appointed and the layout of the one bedroom apartments was excellent. We wanted to change our booking slightly and Elise at the front desk was fantastic. Only comment would be that the wi fi was very slow.
