Stayed here recently. Staff on arrival were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy, however bed was only a double bed which was too small for 2 people. Bathroom had no window or ventilation. It definitely needs one or the other as smells have nowhere to go! Our friends also stayed in a room for the night. Their room was...

Another, couldn't be bothered cooking night and we tried a place we had not been to before. One of the original Hotels in Thames it now houses a good restaurant & bar. The decor & furnishings are a bit tired but the excellent food and service made up for any shortcomings. We were not staying at the hotel, just having...

The rooms and facilities are clean. Nice friendly welcome on arrival. Beds are not that comfortable and quite a lot of noise from street. Restaurant was over priced. great secure storage for bikes if doing the rail trail.

We stayed mid week. Found the accommodation cozy and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Book accommodation for which you require. They have rooms with or without ensuite, tv, type of beds etc. Got what we paid for so...satisfied. They offer tea, coffee and milk also in small kitchen/lounge with basic essentials. Good walking distance to shops and next door...

This lovely old pub is situated on a corner of the main street of this pretty little town. It's obviously very popular with locals, and it's easy to see why. Casual, friendly atmosphere in rustic surrounds. A mixed clientele, all of whom seemed happy. No children running around. A good choice of excellent food at an amazingly good price. We...

Set across the room from a beautiful wooden church. The decor is nice and rustic and the beer was very cold and good. There were a couple of tables and chairs to sit out side and people watch in the beautiful weather and is very old town with lots of history and charm.

The accommodation at the Junction is very much a 'get what you pay for' affair (which makes it quite basic) but this is offset by the central location and access to the lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. Our hosts ironed out a glitch with our room assignment without a problem.

The prawns were hot & delightful & so was the asparagus however the salmon was cool & half cooked. Very disappointing. Sorry I cannot recommrnd the Junction Hotel...

Stayed here on the way to the corromandel, very quiet so had a four bed dorm for the pair of us. It was a Friday night and there was a singer in the bar downstairs which was directly beneath us, so decided to go downstairs and join in. A bit dated and the bathrooms defo need a refurb, we stole...

While I cycled trough New Zealand , I found this place in Thames. They gave me an excellent room with shower for 35 dollar a night. Thats the same price you pay for a 4 dorm in Auckland! I was surprised the room was clean and good and the bed extreme comfortable! I booked a second night! The kitchen that...
