Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Coromandel Peninsula and it is great. Accommodation is all 1 bedroom apartments with parking at the door, a 5/10 minute walk to town centre but really quite. As we have been travelling for about 4 weeks we have experienced many similar places ..........all good but all had something not quite right ..........

When we first approached this small motel we though we might have made a mistake as it initially didn't appear to be too flash. However we were both surprised & delighted by not only the rooms but also the facilities & the lady who runs it who couldn't have been more helpful. Very quiet a peaceful setting whilst still within...

We stayed a night in Thames in February with a light rain & low cloud covering the mountains on our way into the town; and what a unique little town it is too! The Brookby Motel is nestled off a side road and in a lovely setting, run by some very nice people and is very cosy on a wet...

The Brookby has been very well set out and maintained by its owners Yvonne & Keith Burns and is one of the very best Motels that we have stayed in over 18 years of coming to and travelling in NewZealand. It tales a little finding as it is at the back of Thames, close to the local Hospital, but well...

We were in the studio : we had a kettle, a fridge and a little bit a space to "cook". Morever, there is a small deck outside in front of the room which is so pleasant. The room has been carefully furnished. Everything was very clean.

For those that travel light or solo travellers, this budget room ($95 a night, room number 3) has everything you could ask for. Thoughtfully laid out with maximum provision of storage designed into the room. A delightful location close to, but a short walk away from, the centre of town and backed by a babbling brook, the hosts made us...

We stayed here for two nights whilst cycling the length of NZ. Keith happily locked our bikes away in the large garage. The studio unit was beautifully done out and complete with lots of extras such as plunger coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the quiet location.

Thank Anna R
