Stayed 2 nights with 2 kids. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely clean and tidy self-contained unit with a well equipped kitchen. Great on site activities available including heated swimming pool, board games to borrow, bikes, arcade room, playground. We keep coming back to stay here because it is good value for money, nice and relaxing, and always being upgraded and well maintained. Thanks for a super comfortable stay.

The camp is so peaceful and beautifully kept. The grounds are perfect and the park sites by the river for campervans are sealed which is an added bonus. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. We really enjoy this spot. Thank you.

We tow a fairly big Caravan, the hard surface we were put on was great. Facilities are top notch. Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. The Park is close to town, within biking distance. Found the bike trails were great

We stayed a night, and it has all you need, however we felt it was a little bit dated compare to other camp sited among the Top 10 family. We expect to have a sort of standand when you book a Top 10 as they belong to the same network.

Hi Darius. Thanks for your review. I can't find a booking in the name Darius, so it is difficult to comment on which area(s) of our park you used that you felt were dated. Rest assured we work our way round our park making constant improvements and refurbishments. Just in the last 2 years we have refurbished both sets of our ladies communal bathrooms and our 2nd men's bathrooms, our communal dining room and a number of our self-contained units' bathrooms and kitchens. We are sorry that you felt our park didn't live up to the other TOP 10s you've been at but are certainly glad you have spotted TOP 10's to be the best holiday parks in NZ. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in NZ. Thanks.

What an amazing an incredible week in Whanganui, beautiful sunny days. I got to stay at the best place in town, Whanganui River Top10 Holiday Park, and experience some awesome hospitality and service. The location was perfect, facilities were top notch, well presented, clean, tidy. Had everything you wanted and needed. Did some kayaking - 9.91km down the Whanganui River from Whanganui River Top10 to Dublin Street Bridge and back; and some cycling - 41.43km out to Behind the Door on 4 at Upokongaro for breakfast then out to North Mole and Castlecliff Beach and back; and a 13.85km walk from Whanganui River Top10 Holiday Park to Mud Ducks for brunch and back. I got to experience great kai and kāwhe and customer service everywhere I went in town. I highly recommend this Hararei Park for you and your Whānau to stay, I know, I will be back. It was an awesome week 2 of my 6 months working hararei of the North Motū.…

Our cabin was warm and clean, beds were comfortable. Facilities were really good - toilet/shower block was clean and accessible; kitchen was clean & tidy; fridges were spacious, dining area was clean with a sky tv. Not too many people when we stayed. Other guests were lovely and respectful. Will definitely stay again! I would say that our sleep would have been better had the lights outside the cabin, by the river, been on sensor. It was on all night, every night and with the door being just glass the light was shining bright in the dark and found it difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep. Other than that, we would be happy to stay again :)

We try to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible by including little extras such as the smart TV with complimentary Sky Sport and Netflix apps. We are sorry to hear that the lights outside the cabin interfered with your sleep - we were made aware of this issue and as of last month we have installed new blackout blinds on the doors of all our Standard Cabins. This is a great place to stay; great facilities and helpful staff. Accommodation that suits a variety. Highly recommended. We stayed with a school group of 27; as participants in the annual Cadenza choral festival. We would definitely stay again.
