We stay at the Pembroke motor lodge every year when visiting family. The accomodation is amazing the owners so friendly and welcoming. This trip we were surprised by Rick and Marissa with them having installed a air conditioning unit and having slacks installed above the skylight windows. Which they are trailing for all units. They are amazing people and continually...

The apartment was clean but...it faced a major road and the traffic was constant and noisy..all night! A major flaw with the room was a large skylight over the bed - the room was constantly lit making it impossible to sleep, light and noise - oh dear! The owners was very obliging and allowed us to break our reservation!

Reasonable priced rooms, close to town, friendly staff and quiet most of the time. We stay here once a year every year and wouldn't pick anywhere else. Across the road is access to Mair Park and the base of Mt Parihaka which makes for good morning walks.

This motel is a good stop for visitors to Whangarei providing good clean and spacious accommodation. Owners are very obliging and helpful, we extended our stay unexpectedly and our requirements were met without any bother. The cleaning staff are particularly efficient finding an item I had inadvertently left behind. Motel provides an excellent breakfast and dinner room service which would...

At check in I was given a map and was shown where to find supermarkets and restaurants. During my stay I noted a fault with the electric jug...

Booked this hotel for one night and liked it so much that we stayed for another night! Rooms , bed and TVs were massive! The owners were really nice and helpful throughout our stay. The room was equipped with everything you could need. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Rooms are very large and clean. with space for a large bed, a dining table, lounge area and kitchen. Portable hob in the cupboard makes food prep easy, but lack of dustpan and brush was noted. No aircon, but windows back and front plus a large fan allow the room to be cool enough even on a 30oC summers day....

Usually we don't head for motels but accommodation in Whangarei was a bit tight last weekend, so we booked here and overall were pleasantly surprised. it was not expensive, the staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable and the shower OK. If this is what you are looking for it is very good. Oh - and the Wi-Fi was...
