Well I decided to try this place after my usual was hotel was booked out and to see if Whangarei offered up anything better at a corporate rate. All I can say is that the place is average and a little bit in need of a spruce up. The room was large - but paper thin walls and doors/windows without...

First time staying here. Staff friendly & helpful. Had a friend who decided they would book a room while I was in town. They were offered a discounted rate for last minute booking - which was appreciated. Rooms are tasteful & suit the age of the hotel probably time to refurbish .plenty of parking . Has a 24 hour security...

Here for 8 night stay, room is clean but extremely small. There is no where to unpack or store luggage. Would not recommend for more than a one night stay. Shower / bathroom also small not recommended for larger people.

We attended a convention in Whangarei in August. This was one of the accommodation options on the pick up route. We were booked into an attractively decorated, large upstairs executive studio which overlooked the road. However it was quiet even at busy traffic times. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed as a delicious buffet breakfast was supplied...

Executive studio good size, clean and best hotel bed I've slept in for a long time. Decent breakfast and restaurant staff very pleasant. Drawbacks are 'balcony' which is shared and means people can be walking past your room when you least expect, and road noise. Would recommend room in rear block as 'view' of river is largely obstructed by trees...

The room was great, small but modern and clean, the bed was super comfortable and made for a great nights sleep. There wasn't much in the way of cutlery or kitchen space - however this was a small issue and did not impact too greatly on our overall opinion. Parking was close by and the reception were friendly. We were...

I was booked in here by my client. Smallest room I have ever had in NZ. very noisy heater. Tiny bathroom with sink impossible to get near. My co-worker has room in same hotel he would rate 4 or 5. Bad luck for me but I won't be back.

The bed and chirps in this room were among the most comfortable of our trip but unfortunately we had the hockey final on and were woken up by the girls ( and boys) celebrating very loudly about 12.30 am and they weren't quite end down for about an hour. Disappointing from management ( and the girls)!

Hi Mark, sorry about the hockey teams keeping you awake, please dial 0 for reception, as we might not be aware of the noise and we will go and ask them to respect others in the hotel. Rgds Chris

We spent one night and enjoyed the comfort of a King Size bed with lovely linen. The room is well set out and clean with a lovely window/balcony. We had breakfast too and it was delicious - one of the better buffets I have had in a while.
