Unit 4 All in VGC. We enjoyed every night staying here. Big lounge even plenty of room for the 2 lounge chairs. 3m x 3m bathroom and no big deal that there is a chair for disabled to use when you have this much space. Kitchen fully equipped hob, mwave, etc. good quiet heater kept us warm. Plenty of room...

We had unit 4 which is the disabled persons room so it's kind of like feeling that you parked in the handicapped space at supermarket. You can't relax. But the room was fine for what it is. I would call this place lower end but not budget. Everything worked ok - room was basic but clean. Owners were attentive and...

You booked an access unit, which is our cheapest unit. In the room description it states that it is wheelchair accessible.

After a long day of driving, it was great to collapse at the Gables. We were greeted at the front desk by the very friendly owners who took the time to give us a tour of our room, pointing out how to use the TV and the heaters (changing the temp from C to F for us Yanks). There's a...

Loved this motel - the perfect accommodation. Warm welcome from experienced operator Ian, who equipped us well with information to make our stay a comfortable time. Very well equipped kitchenette, loved being able to back the car up to the front door, making it easy to unload the car. Very close to a restaurant where we enjoyed fabulous seafood dishes.

Our unit was very spacious and clean. It was well equipped with cooking utensils and the kitchen even had an oven. The owners were very helpful and keen to point out local attractions.. Good value for money.

Even though the weather was terrible this place made our stay very comfortable. It has everything that we need and lots of room which really helps in bad weather. There is a pub and restaurant about 80 metres away.A large supermarket is within walking distance in good weather. Staff are very helpful. a great place to stay.

Stayed here on the way down the west coast. Along the main road like so many other motels, clean, comfy and convenient to dining options. Staff friendly and informative on local area. Their suggestion of a drive north to Pancake rocks etc was appreciated. (Thank you!) Went to refuel the next morning and received a phone call from them to...

We stayed 2 nights here with 3 families, including 3 young children. From the moment we arrived the owners could not be more helpful with great local advice on attractions and restaurants. They had a good collection of DVDs to borrow for free and the rooms were great. Very very clean, well looked after and well appointed. Overall, we had...

Wonderful night's stay with spa bath and comfortable bed. Self contained cooking facilities in the room and guest laundry was quick and efficient. Ian who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful with local attractions as well as dinner suggestions. Would stay here again.

We stayed two nights and found the accommodation provided was comfortable and met all our requirements. The owner/manager was very helpful and gave us a couple of suggestions that proved well worth following. We saw the sunset at the nearby breakwater and beach. And we drove north up the coast to Punakaiki to see the Pancake Rocks and associated blowholes....
