We chose this because it stated it was 300 metres from the railway station. Well, if you are prepared to illegally cross the railway lines and find the hole in the fence it is probably 300 metres. Otherwise it is closer to 2 Kms. Once there our cabin was comfortable - although small - and with all amenities.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review of our Park. Would like to know where exactly you got the information on distances, because they do need to be corrected. We are 1 km from Whale Watch and the train station, and about 500 m to the main part of town. Both easy walks, flat, no hills. Pleased you...

Preferred this site to Top 10 opposite. Friendly team, great facs all round. Be aware that when cleaning takes place mens becomes communal. Nice little pool, would recommend for one night and be comfortable with your close neighbours. No where really to sit out by your campervan to enjoy the last bit of sun. We met a lovely puppy on...

Thank you for taking the time to review our park We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of our close by eateries and coffee carts. Unfortunately during our peak seasons our sites do get a little cramped as we are only a little park. Hoping to see you back again sometime soon

We really loved this campsite - it just had a nice 'feel' about it. It's walking distance to town - about 10-15 mins. Plenty of shops/bakeries/etc nearby. The cabins are spacious and much nicer than they look on booking.com. They sleep 4 people, which makes this a bargain. Bed was comfy. No fan/air con. Bed sheets are provided, but no...

We took a group of 21 university students to Kaikoura and stayed here. The students squealed with delight when they saw how clean and modern their cabins were. The park felt updated and pleasant. The family unit we stayed in with our kids was a bit small with little room for our luggage but otherwise impeccable. Very modern.

We stayed two nights - sites are a bit close together compared to other campsites we have been too. Amenities were clean and easierly accessible. There is a stream running at the lower end of the park where you can see ducks swimming, it is not fenced as it is very shallow - would suggest a low fence to stop...

Thanks for taking the time to review our Park, and we're really pleased you had a good time in Kaikoura. During peak times sites can be a little close, where possible we do try to space everyone out. Hope to be able to welcome you back again soon.

This was our first pre-booked stop from Christchurch for an over-night stay in a powered site and while the space for the motorhome was a bit narrow, we didn't mind it at all, as we got there around 9pm and went out venturing into town for a late dinner (the local fish 'n chips shop is highly recommended). The shower...

We had pre booked a powered motorhome site. Site was small and site packed and narrow road system made it difficult to manouever our motorhome. Staff not over helpful. Ten min walk to town. Ablutions clean and plentiful for no of guests at site. Would not hurry back due to cramped nature of site. Top 10 just down the road...

We stayed in one of your tourist flats, it had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and with a great view. Located almost next door to the Gondala and a short walk into town. Also managed to get a pile of washing done.

Lovely little site, very glad it was down in a dip as the wind the day we arrived nearly blew us over. Great views from site. Staff very helpful. About 10 minute walk into main town. Hot tubs were warm rather than hot but it was December.

Parking is limited, in our case with a 3 & 5 year old, we had to park up on the hill or on the road which I found most unsuitable, especially when my 3 year old was asleep in the car, having to wake her. They are very small powered sites. You have to love your neighbors as they are...

I'm sorry to hear your experience with us wasn't what you expected. We have a very small park and during peak times it can be congested, we do try and help out when we can and I would encourage you to alert us to the problem with your child sleeping in the car and I'm sure a solution could of...
