I stayed one night on my train journey from Picton to Christchurch. Tony met me at the train station when I arrived and was very nice to drop me off the next morning on his way to do errands in town. Without him, I would not have known that the Whale Watch group (which runs the area served by the...

We stopped over Kaikoura overnight and stumbled upon this lovely B&B. Views from the back yard were absolutely breathtaking. It was a short but sweet stay over night and the lovely couple (Yvonne & Tony) were ever-so welcoming. Creighton the cockatoo and Molly the dog are just too adorable. Had a great stay. Highly recommended! Reasonably price too.

From the moment Tony picked us up at the coach stop to the early morning lift to the Whale-watching station we felt like real VIPs during our stay at the Admiral Creighton. Our room backed onto a delightful terraced seating area overlooking a babbling brook, fields dotted with milliion dollar horses and in the distance beautiful, snow-capped mountains. The room...

This was a comfortable friendly reasonably priced B & B. Our hosts were happy to give advise on the area, and were concerned that we were happy. Kaikoura is a wonderful place, we particularly enjoyed our walk up Mount Fyffe where the views were outstanding.

Our hosts were very friendly and accommodation was clean and OK. Creighton is a parrot in the lounge and there is also Molly the dog who greeted us in the morning. Breakfast was good - except for the instant coffee. The location is on a semi industrial strip on the way in to town. Our hosts were very helpful. After...

Hi, we take all reviews very seriously. When I find one such as this I must place my comment on record. We have a big black coffee maker sitting in the servery in the dining room it is always on at breakfast time and unless it had been emptied by other guests without our knowledge. we would have refilled it...

This is the place you want to stay when in Kaikoura. Back off the main road (one row of houses between you and the road - so easy to get everywhere) and very, very quite. You will not find a cleaner and more comfortable place to stay. Modern bathrooms, wonderful bedding and the biggest, thickest, fluffiest bath towels you will...

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely B&B. The Breakfasts were delicious (especially the cooked ones) and the garden was a real treat. Tony and Yvonne Steadman (the hosts) were very welcoming and made me feel very much at home. Their dog Molly and Cockatoo Creighton were a source of endless delight. It is a bit away from the...

Stayed at Admiral Creighton on a romantic weekend with my third wife. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Fed the eels, tickled the trout and sampled the generous breakfasts. The host even took me fishing (free of charge) although he did look a bit miffed when I caught more than him (35 perch v 1 blue cod and 10 perch). Thanks for everything...

Only stayed 1 night but would have happily stayed here longer. Tony & Yvonne were very welcoming and the free trip to/from the railway station was a bonus we didnt expect. Admiral Creighton made us laugh with his syaings and chatter. Beuatiful views from the garden to the mountains.
