We stayed 2 nights in one of their bungalows and I can't think of anything wrong to say about this place. It is really lovely! Clean, well equipped bungalows, very well maintained property and very friendly owner. We did not have a car but rented bicycles to get around, it was very easy!

I've seen a lot of this world and this place really stands out as something special. The spacious lodges are right on the lake and from morning to night you can get up close and friendly with ducks, water hens, ibises and turtles. The friendly owner, Jason will give you proper food for the animals. It's a beautiful retreat and... More

The location of this establishment is good, after that its all down hill. Out dated décor dinner ware that didn't match, limited wine glasses and cutlery. An air conditioner that didn't work correctly.

We stayed for three nights and were pleased with our choice. The cabins are quite tired, but clean and in a lovely peaceful setting in Hervey Bay. Check-in was very friendly and we were recommended a nearby child-friendly restaurant. There is a fridge and microwave in the cabin and a shared bbq outside, so you could cook if you wanted.... The family bungalow we had was full equipped and big enough for the 4 of us. The balcony was just beside the lake and the water turtles have been spotting us. A real bird sanctuary and a very peaceful place. Just loved it.

Spent two nights in July - lovely clean self-contained detached lakeside unit. Convenient walk to beach, club restaurant and shops. Proprietor Jason was extremely helpful and accommodating and the price exceptionally good. Not a brand-new unit, but well-furnished with comfortable beds and spotless linen; airconditioner, ample instant hot water, and large bathroom. Relaxing on our private verandah for drinks at... The room is very clean and equipped very well. The beds are comfortable. Beds' sheets and pillow case are snow white. Our family spent 3 wonderful nights there. The birds, turtles are a spectacular addition to our stay. My son enjoyed them very much, extremely kind and generous receptionist-thank you to Christine and Jason, both of them made our holiday... The staff on arrival couldn't have been more friendly and on arriving at our chalet/room, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we need or a great 3 day visit. It is walking distance to Urangan and it's pier, possible a bit far to walk to Torquay and Scarness beaches (but the beaches at the end of the road are... More
