We booked a room in Auckland as the last day in our NZ adventure and didn't really have high expectations. Scott and Jay were so lovely and definitely went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, so much so that I was compelled to write a review (which I never do). We were dropped off and picked up from... More

We stayed there for 1 night before picking up a camper van & loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was really nice, there was a good atmosphere about the place. The owner was really chatty and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Phil & Judith

We spent one night here before heading to Tonga to swim with whales. Scott just took over this B and B from Laurel and went out of his way to be helpful! He promptly picked us up from the airport and then drove us to a little village area for dinner later in the afternoon. He picked us up two... More

I stayed at the Airport B & B after travelling for a month around NZ and really enjoyed the feeling of relaxed homeliness before heading back to OZ. Laurel was a very friendly, informative host and she has certainly provided all the necessities for a traveller who wants something more personal than a hotel/motel stay, while still having excellent, comfortable... My husband and I stayed here for 1 night before departing Auckland and found it to be the perfect place to get a good rest and relax before catching our flight, especially as its only a 5 minute drive to the airport. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed, nice decor, tv with cable channels and clean bathroom.... More

We stayed 3 nights in April, and were picked up by Laurel from the airport even though it was 9pm. We felt at home right away, and were happy with our room (queen ensuite) and the breakfast and accommodation (everything very clean). We travelled to and from the city by bus, and Laurel was very helpful with advice on this,... More

Travelling this time with my husband before heading south again, we decided to stay near the airport for our early flight, we left our car with laurel for the week we were gone for, which once again was no hassle, it's like catching up with an old friend staying here, she remembered me! My husband was so impressed with the... More

After reading "Let's be honest, it's a hostel" I have to write another short review and add a picture. We enjoyed our first stay here and must have had the same room as this reviewer. It was indeed small, but certainly adequate, had it's own (tiny) facilities and cost was reasonable for so near a major airport. For us, we... More

My husband and I have stayed here on many occassions. I was by myself this time and as usual found Laurel to be the most accommodating and friendly hostess one could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble for Laurel and she always makes one feel totally at home. The premises are really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The rooms are... More

We had to stay somewhere close to the airport because of our early flight. We were hoping to find somewhere with a b&b feel to it and the positive reviews of Airport b&b persuaded us to go for it. From the pictures available on the website we expected it to be basic but we did not expect it to be... More

“Room 9 is the furthest from the breakfast room and very quiet, but you won't get Internet in the room. If you want Internet in the room, stay in a room closer to the main breakfast room--closer rooms begin with number 1. Ask to be on the back side of the B and B in order to reduce street noise. Some rooms are ensuite and some share facilities. Everything is very clean!”
