I have never placed a negative review before but feel compelled to mention the lack of empathy we experienced when an unexpected cyclone meant two of our small wedding...

We are a small family run hotel and we don't over book (unlike Air New Zealand or bigger hotels) so when people cancel (if its outside the cancellation policy timing) we need to make sure...

Very glad we booked, as even after the Easter break it was still busy at lunchtime. The service was very friendly and we really enjoyed the food (kumara bread, smoked fish salad, calamari salad). Washed down with a good local wine, recommended by waitress. Would definitely return.

We had been to the Bay of Islands before but headed straight for the Duke of Marlborough for lunch. Food is fantastic, wine is superb and the service is excellent. Great location overlooking the beach.

Lovely, large clean and bright with great views over the strand and the bay. Large ensuite with spa bath. The...
