Nature, beach, pools and location is very good, but other than that things start to go south... in fact we paid a high price for an Ultra All Inclusive resort, and its really worst all inclusive system i ever saw. You have to pay for an espresso, or you drink a coffee from coffee machine. You have ice cream in cafeterias but you have to pay for it. You have hamburgers and pizzas on beach but you have to pay for it. You have an empty minibar on the room. And the cafeterias near pools or beach open at 10, so you either go to reception to have a drink or wait till 10 for a water... very early check out at 10:00 and almost no mid-food. You have only wrap or fruits, so you don't have any other choice and everyday the same. So basically it is a resort whith 3 meals. Ps you have arouns 10 cocktails which are included in "UAI" while for any different coctail you have to pay. Definitely not an UAI resort. AVERAGE!

It was my second time here and I'm planning to come againg. We had time of our lives. The rooms are excepitonally clean, food is tasty and workers are too kind, useful and fast. We liked pools a lot and the beach is great to spend some time with family and friends. I friendly recommend it to everyone. As i said, see you again!

We visited the resort end of August beginning of September
We booked as we have been to other Azul resorts in Jamaica but there’s no comparison
It was very disappointing only
one buffet restaurant with not very exciting choices .
It felt like a holiday camp environment we paid extra for premium rooms so at least we had some decent options at the pool bar .
The premium section has nice large gazebo beds however anyone wandered in and used them even though they didn’t have the right wristbands. Not much management of issues like that plus the adult pool had a sign but then there were people with babies using the few gazebos there too . One day a whole family were at the adult only pool .
Entertainment wasn’t great for adults but it was really good for the children. The Italian restaurant needed a make over
and it was the only restaurant offering nice food we ended up eating there most evenings towards the end .
Rooms were fine and cleaned regularly but generally the standards were definitely not four star

We were very disappointed with our stay. We had the feeling that we were on an enormous cruiseschip complete with the “mass” buffet style meals, entertainment and all inclusive cheap wine. “Forced “ to wear a coloured bracelet so you could be recognised as a premium guest. Suitcases lost 90 minutes after check in, were left behind unsupervised. Found a half emptied bottle in de mini bar. Loud, off putting music from the swimming pool bar. The most offensive thing was our inability to get into our room at 10 minutes prior to check out time. Key was automatically disabled, forcing you to walk back to reception, wait in line in order to reactivate your key for a room that you had paid for. Delaying the whole process with another 15 minutes. Trust me, all you want to do is get out of there.
The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the selection of food is good at the buffet. Never mind that the atmosphere is bad and the only other decent restaurant is not included and requires 24 hours booking in advance. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night, so eating here was not an option

This is a very remote southern resort. We had a 3 hour flight followed by a 2 hour transfer. During the journey we were told the north would have been a better option. They were so right and probably knew something we didn’t. As we neared the resort the surrounding area was unloved, depressing and desolate with very little in the way of amenities. Check in was unwelcoming, cold and set the tone for the remainder of the stay. Even though we were all inclusive, a further 16.80 eu was wanted for hotel insurance !. Room was average with tiny bathroom, the toilet of which was positioned so close to the wall you couldn’t sit on it properly. Dining was in a large canteen. Despite reasonable attempts at a varied menu, the food was usually lukewarm. Don’t leave your table for anything or it will have been cleared before you get back. Numerous pools, with one specifically for adults only to use and relax by. Doesn’t matter as this rule isn’t enforced and if a member of staff got brave and approached those in the wrong, they were told where to go. We saw it. It was particularly busy at the weekend and we subsequently found from other reviews that local tourists can enjoy the same holiday amenities as us for as little as 50 eu a day, when we paid nearly 2 grand. The service was particularly disappointing and I believe a service bias existed towards local guests as opposed to us. There is table service for drinks at most bars. We watched as staff, looking out of their eye corner, took the most circuitous route to avoid us and serve another table. We were becoming paranoid but other guests from the UK were apparently in the same situation. Very little in the way of evening entertainment or activities. Becoming bored of being in the bars having to get our own drinks whilst others got premium service, we went back to our rooms jaded, disappointed and counting the days. There are local tours but expensive. The in house tour operator quoted 250 eu for a tour of Kotor and boat ride. The nearest town is old town Ulcinj. Small castle filled with restaurants with staff touting for your business. Below in the harbour the bars are themed with London Bridge, Princess Diana and Plan B etc livery. Overall uninspiring and our as we were so down, couldn’t be bothered going elsewhere. We had heard so many good things about Montenegro before we left. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Great facilities, however reception line 59 from room to reception doesn't work, the safe in the room doesn't work, despite calling them 8 times within 2 days, they came twice but could not fix it, making our stay uncomfortable because we couldn't store our valuables. We were offered to dine at one of the restaurants on the grounds of the hotel, as premium guests, but disappointed with the service.
The room was cleaned everyday but each day either the garbage was not taken out or coffee machine was not cleaned, they do not restock coffee capsules, shampoos and stuff, etc.
Very friendly staff at the pools!

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your time with us. We are sorry to hear that the reception line from your room to the reception was not functioning properly and that the safe in your room was not working despite several attempts to fix it. We understand how frustrating it must have been for you to not be able to store your valuables, and we apologize for any discomfort this may have caused. We will make sure to address these issues promptly to ensure they do not occur in the future. Furthermore, we apologize for the disappointing service you received at one of our restaurants. As premium guests, we strive to provide exceptional dining experiences, and we regret that we fell short of your expectations. We will review our service procedures to ensure that this does not happen again. We appreciate your feedback regarding the housekeeping services. It is disheartening to hear that the garbage was not taken out and the coffee machine was not cleaned on a daily basis. Rest assured, we will address this with our housekeeping team to ensure that these oversights are rectified immediately. Additionally, we will make sure that our stock of coffee capsules, shampoos, and other amenities is properly replenished. On a positive note, we are delighted to hear that you found our staff at the pools to be very friendly. We will pass along your kind words to them, as it is always encouraging for our team to receive positive feedback. Once again, we apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a more comfortable and enjoyable stay in the future. this is the worst hotel i have ever been to. the service is so bad and people are so rude. There are not enough sunbeds for everyone and people are laying so close together. the room is "cleaned" by shaking the duvets. that is it. we had booked a car to pick us up at the airport. it never came. had to take a taxi during rush hour which took 3 hours. when we arrived they didn't want to take responsibility and didn't know anything about it even though we had called and talked to three different people. We lost a whole evening on that. the soda is flat and the water is not cold. There is trass everywhere and at the beach. The hotel is so overbooked that the queue for the food extends all the way out of the restaurant. The food is so dirty and kitchens are licking their fingers. you don't want to eat there. there are screaming children everywhere. the staff can't manage to clean up the tables so there are empty plates and food all over the place. as well as on the floor. In our room there is a constant smell of sewage in the toilet. It is not all inclusive. there are many additional purchases you can make, but with all inclusive you only get the minimum. The food in the restaurant is tasteless and there is not enough. so you have to wait for them to keep making more. It's the same food they serve every night.

for our inconvenience, they provided a dinner at their finer restaurant which you can buy extra. When we arrived we were told we had to pay for the drinks ourselves. So giving us a "free" dinner only gives them extra money - when we could otherwise just get up in their main restaurant where everything is included.

the hotel only wants to make money from you and dont care how the guests are. Not once were we greeted with a smile and hospitality. very very disappointing!

First off, it was plenty of mosquitos and flyers everywhere even within the buffet. When i asked why is this and if they disinfected, the hotel responded that yes but the area was like this. We had all sort of things with us and still was unberable. Secondly the food and the buffet restaurant was smth really cheap, old building, dark curtains, the table settings, gove the impression of smth not clean; food for kids really limited (we had to buy banana and yogurt in supermaket); the meals in between really limited. Playground is basic but they had a indoor one. The entire resort is out dated with some investments ìn the rooms (we had premium rooms and they were ok but nothing special). The only nice things were the space of green amd taken good care, quitness, and cleanest of the beach and resort outdoor. This was denifitly not worth for the price -we basically eat nothing or just pizza and french fries; we paid 4 nights/5 days all inclusive but the check in is too late the first day amd too early last day so you receive the all inclusive services only for 3 nights..

Dear jonE7204TA, We appreciate the time you've taken to write your review. We truly value our guests' comments and are truly sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations. Unfortunately you are right about the mosquitos, in certain seasons, especially humid days we do experience additional mosquito families due to the Ada Bojana confluence into the Adriatic and tha Solana national reserve that is near us. However I assure you that we will take extra precautions in our nature dedicated resort to rectify this. Regarding the rest of your experience, we learn from our guests so we have enriched and amended our menus to suit the tastes and wishes of our guests. We do hope we will have the chance to welcome you again in the future to our resort and have the chance to rectify your experience and convince you of our commitment to our guests and the Ultra All Inclusive service. Having read some of the poor reviews on here I was a bit worried about coming however needn't of been. I shall try and give a balanced view.

This is a large resort and can imagine in peak season it may be a different experience. I visited in mid September and whilst there was still a number of people there it felt very spacious with numerous pools and sunbeds available.

We were staying in a premium 2 bedroom suite, which is basically a twin bed area and a double separated with a partition, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and two sinks and a seperate dressing area as well as a good sized balcony. Space was plenty big enough for two adults. Beds were comfy. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding....some things weren't tidied/replaced (glasses etc) but this wasn't a big issue for us.

As well as the main buffet restaurant we also ate in the Italian and Marleys (beach bar) as well as the Mexican grill which was located in the premier section. Food in both Marleys, the Italian and the grill was limited but of a good quality and cooked freshly. The buffet restaurant could be a little repetitive and food not particularly warm however there was a good choice and we never went hungry.

There's several bars to choose from with some entertainment put on.

Pools were of a good size with two infinity ones overlooking the beach. They appeared clean and whilst we were there had plenty of space to swim.

I'd read some reviews reporting extra charges for certain drinks/food however we didn't find this to be the case although it may be different for those who aren't premium.

Whilst a few little things could of been improved on our overall experience of the hotel was very good.

Hi does the Azul Beach resort Montenegro have accessible rooms, and is the hotel generally accessible? Thank you in advance.
Answer from Mandy Sykes
Peterborough, United Kingdom13 contributions2 helpful votes
Hi, yes they have a lot of ground floor rooms. If you book through an agent, ensure you call the resort directly, as our request for a twin room did not get passed on, and we had to wait 3 hours in resort for a change of room. Everywhere is accessible via ramps and lifts, possibly not the beach and sea as there were no boards on the sand from this hotel. There is a drop to the beach, about 30cm, so not for people with walking difficulties. Hope this helps

I only stayed in the premium rooms and there is no separate room as I was lead to believe, just a partition.
