My dad and I went stayed at the hotel for a week at the end of the summer for a week get a away. The hotel itself is stunning, historic yet modern and comfortable. The first thing that grabs you, is the drive to the front. Amazing. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The owners...

We were very happy with our recent visit to this hotel. The reception we received was excellent, the lady was welcoming, friendly, and clearly willing to please her guests. Our room was off a courtyard. It was clean, comfortable and a very relaxing location. We understand there was a huge event there the previous day but this in no way affected...

We stayed for one night at Chateau du Bois-Guy, after leaving the Cherbourg ferry. We arrived in the late afternoon on an unusually hot and sunny September day. The initial view of the buildings and ground was stunning. The experience got better when we met one of the two owners a young Swiss man and his English/French assistant whose main...

My wife and I recently returned from Chateau du Bois-Guy having stayed for 2 nights. The hotel provides a laid back and relaxed stay and you cannot fail to feel at home. Michael and Mathieu are most welcoming hosts and have a variety of animals and interesting sculptures in palatial grounds. The rooms are superb, spacious, clean and with all...

excellent place to relax. Clean, peacefull and a nice mix between modern interieurdesign and the grandness of the old building. The food is simply to die for. Everything is either homemade or regional products. If they were situated in a town people would have a problem getting reservations. I hope the invest in a small pool by the time we...

Decided on a summer break in Brittany and came across Chateau du Bois-Guy on trip advisor, good reviews and decided to take a chance - so glad we did. Exceeded our expectations in every area, superb setting, park like grounds (with stunning sculptures on the lawns) beautifully decorated inside. Lake with ducks and geese plus goats, sheep and pigs complimented...

We booked a family room at the Chateau and were not expecting much - we were pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff unbelievably warm and friendly and the surroundings beyond compare. I agree with another reviewer - a fairy-tale come to life. We visited both Normandy and Mont St. Michele and found them easy to find...

We've just stayed at BG for a week on a half board basis and cannot fault it. Hosts Michael and Matt have created an environment that is both relaxing and welcoming - their friendliness and attention to detail epitomises the approach taken by BG towards their guests. The location is beautiful and the presence of various animals adds to the...
