Staying in Zavala 222 means total relaxation with sea just in front of the house, stars to gaze to every night, with sound of waves to suit you to sleep and amazing scents including lavander, rosemary, figs, oregano, .... Total relaxation in understated comfort. Enjoyment for families as well as couples.

We enjoyed our stay at Zavala Apartments so much! Friendly welcomed by our hosts we just felt like home. We are so grateful we were invited for a boat trip to Otok Šćedro which is absolutely stunning with its sandy beach and the light blue water. Couldn't have had a better trip! The location as well as the apartment, from which you have a great view over the sea is incredible. There is a lot of nature around the apartment (it's located in the midst of a pine forest), so you can be sure not to find yourself on a crowded beach. The way down to the private cove leads to various leveled roof gardens where you can relax or enjoy the sun while lying on the loungers that are always available. There is definetly enough space and we really loved it! Reading in the hammock while listening to the sound of crickets was great as well - and the trees also spent comfortable shadow. Only a few steps downstairs, the rocky cove begins. It is very easy to jump into the crystal clear water because there is a ladder attached in the rocks. Swimming feels as if you were in a bathtub, and the world unterwater looks amazing. Definetly recommended if you like diving and exploring the ocean. A shower with fresh water can also be used after swimming which is really practical if you don't like the salty feeling on your skin. In front of the cove, there is a little beach filled with pebbel stones; the red couloured cave looks quiet cool, so you also have a great view from the different platforms. The apartment itself was very clean and we had everything we needed: a huge, illuminated terrace equipped with a wooden tabel (& a good view towards the sea), an opened kitchen which is connected to the comfortable living room, a big TV screen (German language was available), an aircon and included WI-FI . In general the furnishing was very modern, everything was in a good condition and worked without any problems. As visitors who traveled by car, the covered parking was excellent because we had our own parking place thus we did not have to worry about our car or where to park. It is the perfect place for family vacation. We have already visited many drifferent places in Croatia, but we never experienced such a great variety of nature & landscape, romantic small cities like Jelsa, Hvar or Stari Grad and it's beautiful city centers. Zavala is really nice as well; there goes a little way along the coast right to the center - and the people we met were so kind and opened. Once more big thanks to our hosts, we loved your place and especially your warm hospitality so much!! <3 So we can't wait to visit this part of Croatia again!…

Our family has been vacationing in Croatia since 2008. Each year, we travel to different places but Zavala 222 is a place where we gladly returned - we spent two great summer vacations here, in apartments A2 and B2. The apartment house is located at the very end of Zavala village so it is very quiet and peaceful. The beach is rocky and, if preferred, you can find a pebbles beach close by as well. Apartments are kept clean and well maintained and the host is very kind and helpful - really nothing to complain about. Looks like we will spend some more vacations here!

Clean, organized and amazing views! The property is gorgeous and well taken care of - especially impressed with the landscaping around the house. We spent most of our time on the spacious terrace overlooking the sea. The furnishings are new and comfortable. The hosts are kind, happy and attentive. Cannot wait to go back!

Can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at Zavala Apartments. From initial correspondence to check out was great. Situated in a pine forest, with a private beach at the end of a cove, with all apartments having a sea view, the house is a treasure to behold. Our apartment was spotless, comfortable, with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, big screen TV, aircon and WI-FI . The grounds were immaculate, and the air was filled with a scent of lavender and pine. The beach in front of the house is rocky with a natural shade provided by pine trees. There is a cute pebble beach a shorth walk (or swim) away. The sea is blue, clean, and crystal clear. The salinity is higher than in oceans and it felt a little like swimming in a gel – which is such a cool feeling! The place is a very quiet and serene. If you prefer to keep it to yourself the only sound you would hear would come from tireless cicadas and crashing of the waves. In the evenings you can buy freshly caught fish directly from a boat of local fisherman and prepare it on the built-in grill in the yard. On top of all, we enjoyed wonderful conversations with other guests and hosts. It is an ultimate vacation to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort of the home. We would like to extend big thanks to our gracious hosts for making us feel at home away from home. We look forward to coming back.…

As soon as we arrived, the owner Kaća offered us coffee and refreshments with big and welcoming smile. Appt. was extremelly clean, everithing was new and work prefectly. We had two comfortable bedrooms, and the best terrace where we spent our mornings and late nights. The hous with 6 appt. was full of guests, yet quiet and peacful. I really recomend this place, and my familly and me will be back for sure.

We had beautiful holidays at Zavala. We had the B apartment which has a huge terrace with a breathtaking view over the sea view! Kaca our host was very friendly and helpful, she gave us tips for our coming and to sightseeing the island.

The best place for peacefull, sunny and comfortable vacation in Croatia! We come to Zavala apartments every year since the opening in 2006. The apartments and the equipment are always clean and look like new with lavender scent everywhere. Apartments on second and top floor have great sea-view. There is a good and equipped kitchen, a smart TV, wifi (quite fast), an air-condition (in all rooms) and a floor heating (we have never used it :D) in each one. We usually stay in apartment with terrace (B1 or B2) which is great for outside eating and admiring moon mirrored by the sea. Surroundings are very nice with plenty of typical mediterrian plants and flowers. The house has private access to the sea (35m) with terraces for sunbathing (loungers are provided) – we spent all days here. Another outside facillities are a playground and a comfy covered sitting with a fireplace. Behind the house is parking (also covered). The hosts are very very kind and helpful with everything. If you have any kind of problem or question don´t be shy and ask them. We have already booked term for next summer and we are excited :)…

We were really happy that we chose this place. It was quiet and peaceful, with kind people and perfect hosts. The apartment was perfectly clean, equipped and with a sea view. Beautiful garden with a place for kids, fireplace and shower. The beach was private, with amazing nature. It was a pleasure to spend our summer holiday here.
