Absolutely looked after by Jasmine and James for my stay. in many aspects A credit to your hotel. They both made me feel so welcome to be here. A really lovely hotel. Matress was really good so I had a good nights sleep even though the room I was in was quite small.

A beautiful hotel. Our room was perfect. We had booked to stay, whilst on a visit to Windsor to see our little granddaughter who was only a few days old. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we checked in to our room, the hotel had left a lovely note for us and some chocolate truffles… to congratulate us on the birth of our granddaughter such a lovely generous touch. 😊. Breakfast was delicious too. We will definitely be returning in our next visit.

Nice surroundings , nice room but food was pub grub at a high price. Very limited and mundane menu . drinks were on the high side but service was reasonable . As a group of 6 we spent a lot for a 1 night stay . Breakfast expensive at 22.50 each with a poor selection.

We came to visit The Royal Berkshire back in February 2020 before lockdown. We meet the lovely Evie and after that meeting we know we found the venue of our dreams!! And booked straight away!! After lockdown staff had changed and we went through a couple of temporary wedding coordinators. I must say the communication was lacking and I found myself feeling very nervous and not sure who was looking after our big day. Then something magical happened! The Royal Berkshire found the perfect team! And we was met by the Lovely Dominika who invited us in for a chat. We spoke about the day, voiced our concerns and we were heard, listened to and reassured that our wedding was in good hands. The venue invited us to an open evening, where they had revamped the wedding space to update it, we were able to check out the new fresh rooms and try the delicious canapés. Near the time of the wedding we did our menu tasting. We were given a choice of food and wines to try for the big day. 2 months away from the wedding, we was given our personal wedding coordinator for the day it’s self!! The lovely Lydia!! At first I was a little upset that Dominika was not going to look after the day it’s self! But we met with Lydia and fell in love!! She saw my vision my bible book!! And loved it!! The Friday before the wedding we had are final handover with Lydia who was looking after the day of the wedding and Sam who was looking after the evening part of the wedding. The handover was perfect we went through all the details and was happy knowing our big day was in the best hands. The wedding was a big success with no hiccups, Lydia was able to take everything from my wedding planner and make my vision come true. She was a dream to work with and a great asset to the Royal Berkshire family. I want to say a big Thank you!!!! The Royal Berkshire is a home away from Home. With the best wedding team!! A massive Thank you!! To Lydia your an amazing person, you made the final process so easy and made us feel so relaxed towards the end. We had a great laugh with you, keep being you!! Amazing 🤩! Look after them upcoming brides as I know you will. A big Thank you!! To Sam you helped the evening run so smoothly. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming engagement! She will say YES!! With the plan you have and how sharp you will look in the tie!! I’m left to say, if you’re looking for the best venue with the best staff! Look no one!! Check their page and website out!! Say Amy sent us here!! You won’t be disappointed!! To everyone at The Royal Berkshire!! Thank you for making our wedding day so magical. We wish you all the staff the very best. See you soon Love the Searle’s

An absolutely wonderous wedding day at The Royal Berkshire. I still get emotional thinking about how perfect the venue was. If you are planning a wedding you must go and take a look. The attention to detail, the service, the food, the options to have the day of your dreams are all possible here. From the outdoor ceremony that we were lucky enough to have because of the weather, the day was PERFECT. Seamless and stress-free, they really do think of every single thing for you before you need to. Every guest commented on how friendly and professional every single member of staff were - just so accommodating and helpful - we cant thank you enough. Special mentions to Dominika who is just the nicest and best wedding co-ordinator and Lay who stayed for the entire evening with a huge smile on her face. Every single member of staff contributed to us having our perfect day. Rooms are beautiful, bedrooms are generous and beautifully appointed. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Lovely staff, clean comfortable room but in our opinion, overpriced. We were very disappointed by the limited offerings in the restaurant and the cost of some basic selections such as £26 for breaded fish & chips! We were in the area for the PGA golf tournament at Wentworth GC, which is a couple of miles from the hotel. This is a huge international event visited by thousands of spectators and yet reception had no knowledge of the event for hotel residents who might have queries on travelling to the course for example, which I would of expected them to be clued up on. Shame as we booked this expensive hotel as a treat as it was also our wedding anniversary, but left feeling like we had not received value for money.

Fantastic stay, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds. Only negative was the slow bar service. The breakfast was good and the morning staff were excellent. There was a wedding but it did not disrupt us in any way. Would love to return.

We have not visited this hotel previously and we decided to book afternoon tea after reading indifferent reviews on s8m,ilar local establishments. Our tea in the Fork Restaurant was beautifully served by our very efficient waiter on a very hot afternoon. Our table was in the window which normally would have been perfect but due to the intense sunlight we asked to be moved and there this was accomplished without any problem. The twea itself was faultless and we were offered without asking if we would like refills, after we had finished out tea as it was a lovely day we sat on the terrace taking in the beautiful gardens and left when the sun went down. It was as advertised memorable occasion and we are looking forward to a return visit at some time.

We booked a couples w/e (DBB) as part of a series of mini moon breaks. From the very start we found the staff at RBH to be extremely helpful and nothing was too much for them to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The two Ellas and Isabella on reception; Edward and Hacket in Fork Restaurant did a great job in representing the hotel. Very happy with our spacious bedroom and we enjoyed walking in the hotel grounds. Food on the whole was very good and breakfast was excellent. Huge thanks to Ella F for arranging all the lovely and thoughtful surprise treats throughout our mini moon. We look forward to returning in the future. The Jordan’s

Have just stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding, the grounds are beautiful and there are a lot of opportunities for photos and family games (frisbee golf, football nets and Chequers) but that is honestly where the good review ends. Reading other reviews from 3+ years ago it is clear that the issues of disabled access have not been addressed. Ground floor rooms still require negotiation of steps on several levels of the ground floor, there is a wheelchair lift in one area, but there are many steps to get in and out from the garden. If the wedding ceremony is in the walled garden the only access is via the grass lawns and it is perfectly aligned to be in full sun during the summer afternoon. There are no wheelchairs or “golf buggies“ that can be loaned for the purpose of transporting guests with mobility problems around the grounds and a total absence of solid paths (all gravel or grass) There is NO air conditioning in many bed rooms including the ground floor, so anyone who is vulnerable on hot days especially the elderly are not protected. Dyson blades were provided but were inadequate in a lot of cases especially on the third floor. The food was very good but the service was terrible, At the welcome dinner a couple of people waited for almost an hour before their entrees were served - everyone else had finished theirs. and throughout our stay the bar was manned by youngsters who did not know any specialized drinks such as cocktails. I would not choose this venue for the happiest day of your life if you value the happiness of your family and friends especially anyone disabled, elderly or infirm. This hotel needs serious investment into air conditioning, disabled ramps and mobility assistance.

Dear KEinSF Thank you for your constructive feedback following your recent visit in celebration of a family wedding. We have made many accessible changes to the hotel, from an accessible toilet on the ground floor, a lift to the ground floor, and access to public areas. We also have portable ramps that will allow access outside onto the beautiful gardens. Air conditioning is available in over 60% of our bedrooms in a variety of different parts of the hotel. Unfortunately this does not include the ground floor. I'm very sorry we clearly did not meet your expectatoins regarding food and drinks service. We will continue to invest in the hotel as we have done for many years and take on board yourconstructive comments - thank you once again for bringing these to our attention. With kind regards
