My husband & I escaped town & stayed 3 nights at Melaleuca Resort recently. We received a very warm welcome from Margaret and were given a very private unit on the first floor. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The resort is very private

Thankyou Tropicalshowers for your review. It was a pleasure to have you stay. We get many local couples just escaping for a couple of nights. As we are surrounded by some very good restaurants our apartments are very close and a short walk will give great variety. Thanks again for your comments on the gardens. We look forward to your next escape!!! Steve and Marg

Very pleasantly surprised. I walked in off the street to book this place. Just great! Good price. Great location. Great service by Margaret. We'll definitely go back again. Got a good "Standby" rate. Good parking with my huge 4WD.

Thanks Robert C for your review. We are so glad we could look after you and your 4WD. Although we have undercover parking for all apartments we do have some space to play with for Trailers and Medium size Caravans. We hope you will return soon and enjoy us again. Best regards Steve and Marg.

Lovely apartments nice and clean but not boutique. The garden and pool area are lovely pool is nice and warm with a added spa in the rocks nice and relaxing. The apartments could do with being updated a bit antique not boutique. Friendly and helpful couple who manage it.

Thank you Cimber2015 for your review. We are glad you did enjoy your stay with us. Our gardens are commented on by almost everyone - even people who are not staying with us. The pool is based on Mossman Gorge with its large rocks at the entrance and spa seats at the rear of the pool. We are told we are great value for self contained apartments being on the beachfront and so close to restaurants and shops. Hope you can join us again soon.

We chose this resort due to its proximity to the ocean as well as the photos we saw online. We were beyond amazed by the gorgeous landscaping and we couldn't get any closer to the beach! What a pleasant surprise to us was the local market that sets up in the street. So many

Thank you foreverloyal. We are so glad you enjoyed the Resort and Palm Cove. Yes, we only have the one bedroom apartments so a family of four is a bit of a squeeze. Once all the bags and beds are open there is not a lot of room left over. The pool dose get cool in the midwinter (July) but some sun during the day, usually around 25c soon makes it much more comfortable. We get many of our guests using our location to explore the area. 25 minutes to Cairns and 40 minutes to Port Douglas. They love the quiet at night after touring and the beach facing alfresco restaurants. We hope we may see you again on your next trip. Regards Steve and Marg.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Palm Cove at the Melaleuca resort. It's a well kept apartment style resort on the main strip of palm cove beach. We decided to stay for 5 nights and hire a car, which we could park safely in the free covered parking area. We did our laundry in

Hi eeeeeebos. Thanks for your great review. It seems you really got the most out of the resort and the lovely Palm Cove. My apologies for the hair dryer and shower. I will check them straight away. The older dryers are replaced as I think age and use makes them work poorly. We are very happy you enjoyed the gardens. I must say we have been enjoying Bananas, Paw Paw and Passion Fruit with the Spring. Marg now has a herb garden next to the BBQ area. All for you to enjoy. The Green Season is upon us now. That means when it rains, it rains. But we have had so little of late. The Humidity is here, but that only means more time close to the Pool. We hope you can join us again soon and have great travels in the mean time. Regards Steve and Marg

Stinger nets at the beach are not totally effective. We do not swim in the sea during stinger season. Extreme danger!!! No sun lounges for hire there. Resort pool is safe. Sun lounges and chairs by the pool and gardens. Winter is best to visit here.

We were there in the middle of July. The pool wasn't warm enough for me to swim in. The outside temp was 23 24 degrees. Some people were swimming during the afternoons.
