We stayed here one night in January, 2017 on our way to the Gordon River. Queenstown is a sleepy place but it is interesting to see the landscape after the copper smelters have closed and what havoc they played on the countryside. There are also good walks to do and waterfalls to see. It was a nice place to stay...

Appreciate the feedback you have provided on your stay with us and your impressions of Tasmania's West Coast Wilderness. This is a great region to visit and see the contrast between natural, stunning wilderness trees and mountains surrounding an area of man's intervention through mining

Large, clean and comfy rooms. Friendly service, with an on-site restaurant and room service. About 2 minutes out of the city centre. I recommend when in Queenstown or need somewhere to stay if passing through the area.

Stayed for eleven nights over Christmas/New Year 2016/17, the large room and extremely comfortable bed combined with friendly and helpful staff made for a very enjoyable holiday. The restaurant provides excellent and well cooked meals with good prompt service. I would not hesitate to recommend The Comfort Inn Goldrush Motel to any travellers or holidayers.

I stayed here for one night as part of a motorbike tour of Tasmania. My room was spacious with a comfortable double bed and a kitchenette equipped with coffee and tea and a fridge with fresh milk. The bathroom had a bath as well as a shower with plenty of hot water. This was very welcome after a long ride....

We stayed two nights and quite enjoyed ourselves. The room had a small but nice kitchen with all we wanted for breakfast and snacks. It is a bit out of town but not far. On the second night we ate at the restaurant and had nice meals. Overall a very nice choice for a stay in Queenstown; friendly and family...

The location was excellent and we were welcomed warmly and provided with all the assistance we needed, including being able to hose the lime dust off the car. A small kitchenette allowed us to provide our own simple meal which added to the value for money although we could have used the on site restaurant. The bath was a bonus...

Booked for one night, stayed for two on the basis that we were very happy with the comfort and value. The room was very large, with good kitchenette facilities. Bed was king size with electric blanket. Bathroom was large, spotlessly clean, and with a good range of complimentary toiletries including shaving cream. WiFi was included, with internet access fast and...

The owner was happy to help get us booked in fairly late (8.00pm) and advised us on how to get dinner as their restaurant was closed at the time. Served us breakfast even though we didn't get the menu in until well after the cut off time due to our late check in. Rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable...

We are pleased the room met expectations and was reasonably priced. When we know guests will be arriving late we will advise where to get a meal on-the-way such as at Tullah Lakeside Lodge or the Derwent Bridge Hotel. After 8pm-8.30pm dinner services have shut down in most of Queenstown's eating places.

Excellent stay. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils, small dining table and chairs. Quiet. Restaurant on premises has good food, and very accommodating staff. They aren't open late, however, so you might want to inquire about dinner when you book. They fixed us a Continental Breakfast tray last night (for this morning,)...
