Spent two nights here and it is a very nice motel indeed. On the highway to Hobart but very quiet (not really surprising, Queenstown isn't a roaring metropolis), and very clean. Friendly check-in, parking in front of rooms. The room itself was well set out, with a comfortable bed, good sofa, small table and chairs and an unexpectedly good kitchenette...

We are happy you found your experience at our property a pleasant one. The Gold Rush Motel is well located when exploring Tasmania's West Coast Wilderness, in easy driving distance to the historic Wilderness Railway, the cruises boats from Strahan. There are range of short and longer more walks in the region including Montezuma Falls, and Queenstown is home to...

Unpretentious, old fashioned country motel with everything you meed in it. Queen size bed was comfortable, toiletries unexpectedly good. A good place to crash for the night. Pity the restaurant was closed.

Stayed 2 nights with continental breakfast served in Dining Room. Plenty of cereal and toast. Option available for hot breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. TV would have been better on wall as it was very low when placed on suitcase shelf. Room was serviced with fresh towels but tea/coffee/milk were not replenished. Bathroom was large with soap/shampoo/conditioner from...

Thanks very much for the feedback and while we have largely met expectations in several areas we could have done better. The room service does always include replacement of tea/coffee however it appears our staff took they 'eye off the ball' and missed replenishing those items and the bathroom amenities. Time for staff re-fresher training. Thanks for bringing this to...

Booked here because accommodation in the Strahan area was so expensive and what a gem this place is. Comfortable with a kichenette with fridge, microwave and toaster plus sink with cutlery plates and glasses. The room has been refurbished and is very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly right from the front desk to the people who clean the...

Great experience at Comfort Inn overall. The room was very clean and comfortable and great to have a kitchenette area to use as well. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean and unmarked. The only issue was a dripping shower head once you turned the taps off. Issue reported to staff on leaving. Good location and good to have...

Its very good to receive feedback on guest's stay at our accommodation. Restaurant opening hours can sometimes be a little tricky especially when arrivals are after 8pm. But we will always try and do what we can so no one has too much of a rumbling tum when they go to bed.

A good welcome, comfortable, clean room. Restaurant not open but was offered meal in our room, also had breakfast both good. Helpful in reception and booked us a trip on railway . Parking on site and 10 min walk to town centre.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in and around the area and the Gold Rush was the perfect home base for us.
