Booked here because accommodation in the Strahan area was so expensive and what a gem this place is. Comfortable with a kichenette with fridge, microwave and toaster plus sink with cutlery plates and glasses. The room has been refurbished and is very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly right from the front desk to the people who clean the...

It's pleasing our property has hit the mark and you enjoyed your stay at our property. Yes Queenstown is a pleasant compromise to base yourself while exploring the region, it is in easy travel to the Wilderness Railway (1 minute from us), the World Heritage/Gordon River cruise boats (40 minutes), Cradle Mountain (100 minutes), Lake St Claire (80 minutes). Great experience at Comfort Inn overall. The room was very clean and comfortable and great to have a kitchenette area to use as well. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean and unmarked. The only issue was a dripping shower head once you turned the taps off. Issue reported to staff on leaving. Good location and good to have...

We appreciate you taking the time to review your stay at our property. Thanks for advising on the shower, a washer had come to the end of its life and was replaced. We think it is important if visitors make the journey to Tasmania's West Coast Wilderness that can expect to be provided good, clean, comfortable accommodation, it's what we...

Booked two nights in hotel to experience the Western Tasmania. Very nice and clean hotel. Restaurant at hotel and in town close early but we managed ok. Manager was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Its very good to receive feedback on guest's stay at our accommodation. Restaurant opening hours can sometimes be a little tricky especially when arrivals are after 8pm. But we will always try and do what we can so no one has too much of a rumbling tum when they go to bed.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in and around the area and the Gold Rush was the perfect home base for us. This place is one of the most modern and well appointed motels we've stayed in anywhere in Australia. The kitchen allowed us space to store, make and eat breakfast and lunches (including cold items in the fridge),...

Booked three nights here to explore the area. Family of four with two teenagers comfortably accommodated in a small but functional room. 1 Queen, 1 single and a bunk bed. Tea and toast facilities provided as well as crockery. When we turned up on a public holiday with _nothing_ open the dinner we had for room service was reasonably priced...

The Comfort Inn Gold Rush is a typical Australian motel. We stayed for one night while visiting the West coast of Tasmania. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a kitchenette. There was free WiFi. The restaurant was closed, but we had dinner in a nearby hotel recommended by the owner/manager of the motel. We had breakfast in the...

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us and pleased that we could meet and it appears may have exceeded your expectations. We stayed here one night in January, 2017 on our way to the Gordon River. Queenstown is a sleepy place but it is interesting to see the landscape after the copper smelters have closed and what havoc they played on the countryside. There are also good walks to do and waterfalls to see. It was a nice place to stay...

Appreciate the feedback you have provided on your stay with us and your impressions of Tasmania's West Coast Wilderness. This is a great region to visit and see the contrast between natural, stunning wilderness trees and mountains surrounding an area of man's intervention through mining
