1200acres of peaceful Aussie bush on the Northern Tablelands area of New South Wales. 17klms from the town of Glen Innes (the Celtic Capital of Australia) we have no through traffic and heaps of birdlife. We have the Beardy Waters river on our northern boundary and the Reddestone Creek to the West which is famous for its blue sapphires. Why not try your hand at fossicking in our park and then down in the Creek.. Some families just like to camp away from home or stay in our guesthouse.

My husband and I visited for the first time today and loved the place. Our third visit to the region, we have fossicked at 7 Oaks, Billabong Blue and Three Waters, as well as various other locations. We found Bullock Mountain to be the most comfortable and prosperous,

Was told by owners that we could book in for 3 nights hunting as they don't book in hunters and campers at the same time. When we arrived was told we would have to share bunk house for 1 night as they had booked a camping couple in the next day. Also we couldn't access two other

We're sorry that there was obviously some missed communication about hunting on the property. We do not allow more than one group of hunters on the property at a time - not hunting and camping. All hunters are advised of where they can hunt, and this is no different than not being able to hunt on other properties in the areas where stock are grazing. You had the majority of the property to hunt, with only two small areas not available. The bunkhouse is shared accommodation, as are the bathrooms. You did not communicate with us that you were going, and we were surprised when you just upped and left, so we were unaware you were leaving and therefore had no opportunity to offer a refund. We merely asked that you move your belongings temporarily from the kitchen area so that we could clean it. You were also charged a lower rate than usual for the rooms that you occupied. We have many hunters who are repeat visitors, are very happy with the property and usually take home meat or a trophy.

We have just spent another week at this destination and could not have been happier. We have now visited on 5 occasions and it just gets better each time. Many improvements have been made over the past 3 years or so and many more are planned. The host family are very welcoming

Bullock Mt Homestead is not a five star, silver service holiday, instead it is a place to go where you can do as much, or as little, as you want without anyone paying any attention to you. There are pros and cons with every place you will stay and Bullock Mt Homestead is no

Thank you for your lovely review. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of Australia and believe it is a wonderful property for families to reconnect.

This was our fourth visit, and still one of our favorite places for total relaxation over a long weekend. Two families occupy two adjoining cabins, with BBQ cooking on the veranda. So much for teen boys to do: Roaming the bushland, sapphire fossicking, river swimming and yabby

Sorry, Linda, PubCrawls is no longer operating. Bullock Mountain Homestead is though so you can come and stay and then go riding down the road a few kilometres. At present, the email for Trip Advisor is going to the old one so I will change it today to the new owners, Malcolm and Anne, lovely people. If you want a pub trek then try Bellrowen Valley near Wauchope, again lovely people. thanks for the enquiry

"This is not a hotel, it is a beautiful camping area. Most of the secluded camp sites are inaccessible to 2WD vehicles"
