Was definitely expecting more from this hotel, rooms had a distinct smell to them and were in poor condition. Sound proofing non existent my wife had to buy ear plugs to sleep over the snoring from the room next door. Bathroom in very poor condition water pressure terrible and it alternated between icy cold and scalding hot. Paint peeling off...

On a misty afternoon in February we attended at Murder Mystery High Tea at Hotel Blue. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Chris, the manager and Elizabeth, the cocktail maker. Funky hotel. Especially the lounge where there's live jazz music for many days of the week. At no cost to you. Nice staff, willing to help. Fantastic beds. Only items I would like to see improved is the breakfast buffet and the cleanliness.Dinner food was fine though.

3 adults stayed in the family room 4 nights cost $230 per night. We were in Katoomba for the Ukulele Festival it was 38c all weekend. The best way to describe it is Fawlty Towers.
