This is a really lovely hostel in an excellent position in the Blue Mountains. It is very clean and comfortable, feels more like a hotel. It has a very tranquil atmosphere and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. After the frenzy of a Sydney backpackers it was an oasis of calm. Wish I had time to stay longer.

I first thought to visit the blue mountains just one day. I'm glad i didn't cuz i can't get enough of this beautiful place. I stayed 3 nights in this hostel. The service is great, there is free wifi, breakfast and tips on the wall next to the reception. I did my laundry there it was only $3 to wash... More

At 63 years old this was my first stay in a hostel, I usually avoid them for various reasons but my stay with this hostel was a surprise. The location was very good, in the Main Street within walking distance to just about everything. Aldi, Woolworths and Big W within 50 metres of the hostel. I booked a queen room... More

Best hostel I have ever visited! It really felt like a hotel in common areas. Soothing music was played all the time which made the atmosphere really nice and relaxing. Very clean everywhere and helpful staff. We saw families with children, backpackers and seniors. Everybody seemed to like this hostel a lot! Only problem we had were the key cards.... More

Went there as a couple, 43 and 55. We expected bunkbeds but were pleasantly surprised to get a beautiful room with a nice big bed and an onsuite bathroom. Not at all like a youth hostel. Ordered breakfast there as well as Katoomba Cafés can be pricey. In all..very nice stay.

This hostel is clean, spacious and warm. The kitchen is spotless and the balcony is a lovely place to sit and relax. It is located very close to the sights and shops. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a quiet few days away.

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. We stayed in a double room and a friend stayed in the dorms and both rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The huge common area was wonderful and the fire place (even though it was gas) was very atmospheric. Everything was wonderful, even the bloke on the front desk could not... More

After the rather deceiving experience at Byron Bay's YHA, we were hesitating about this YHA. Well, this is a very, very good place to stay at Katoomba. Only thing we didn't like so much was the temperature in the living/dinning room. It was freezing there!

This is a very nice hostel for this area. It really has that 'mountain feel'. Very welcoming people at the reception and a big lounge area. Next to it is a spacious clean kitchen. The rooms are also good but only our bathroom was a bit small and old-fashioned. Also ideal for families!
