Catch the train from the airport to Central Station, then change for a Blue Mountains Train. Get off at Leura and either catch a tourist Trolley bus or a taxi - cheaper way than direct airport transfers.

We like a view over the Jameson Valley, and space. The top level is best. The courtyard rooms would suit a family with children who run around, but with a three year old, I would think being cosy is the most important thing, along with the lovely view. The people at reception are very helpful, and will, I'm sure, find the best room for you. It's a great place. Breakfast over looking the valley is perfect, and dinner near the fire, in the winter, is just so very nice too. And there's a hop-on-hop-off bus that takes you on an hours tour around a circuit of views and interesting places; it is without effort. Enjoy!
