We stayed in a renovated room in the old part of the hotel. It was large, had doors on to a wide verandah with views over the water. It was quiet despite the hotel being full. The shower was double size and the whole bathroom was modern. Reception staff were efficient. Wifi was the best we had in South Australia...

We stayed in there 'old' hotel. It needs some money spent on it. Our room was out the back overlooking a variety of roofs and yards. In itself so what. But the room was small and pokey and the bathroom was not a room but a small space where it was difficult to turn around and I'm not a big...

We were upgraded to one of the new apartments that the hotel manages. Would have preferred a king bed (which we had booked) to the queen in the apartment, but then we wouldn't have had all the other amenities. It was great to have a full kitchen, two TVs, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Parked right out front as well. The...

Comfortable, clean & friendly hotel by the sea. Located in Kingscote, a great base for exploring the rest of Kangaroo Island. Our room was on the ground floor with a view of the sea. There are two bits of the hotel, we stayed in the part across the road from the restaurant & other rooms. We also ate in the...

Spent 2 nights in a refurbished sea-view room in the old part of the hotel - Excellent with great views of the bay. Meals in the bistro very good but what made the stay memorable was the excellent bar staff, Josh and Nell, Very professional, friendly and great service. Looking forward to next visit. John

We stayed just one night part of a tour. There are 2 parts to this hotel. One is modern run section across the road the other in an older part built in the early 1900's. We stayed in the older part on the second floor. There was no lift and the rooms although clean were quite dated. The plumbing was...

We were given a 2 night stay from a friend who won it. We added an extra night. It was a seaview executive room which was lovely. Plenty of space. We had breakfast with this which were great. You had to cross the road to the restaurant which was the old ozone hotel. Didnt like the soap dispensers in the...

We were given an executive sea view room with balcony and jacuzzi tub. (didn't use the tub ). That is the bldg across the street. Gorgeous view. It had a queen bed and a single bed, both comfy. The bath had a soap dispenser at the sink and tub/shower. Plenty of towels, pillows and Xtra blankets. The restaurants does get...

We checked in and were not wildly happy with our room. Manager extremely helpful and we upgraded to seafront "managed" upper apartment with full service which was superb. Comfy bedroom, large bathroom, enormous open plan living with balcony. Great restaurant in hotel with super food and smiley service.
