We stayed as a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children in August 2016 and loved it so much that we returned in August this year. Lovely podere with stunning sunset views from our terrace. A car is necessary but even in August the roads were never busy and we easily visited as many of the very pretty hilltop...

The views from Podere Ampella are stunning looking over the classic Tuscan scenery, the small complex of villas are built to a high standard and well equipped and furnished with all needs for a holiday break. They are well presented and cleaned on arrival, the owners Robert and Paola are very helpful to ensure all goes well. The location is...

If you want a place nice and quiet, where you can cater for yourself, try this place. There are several houses on the premises, and some of them share a pool, which was never crowded. Everything is laid out well by an architect, so alle the houses have their own private patios. You need a car to stay here. You...

great place for a relaxing and quiet holiday apart from the day the euro fighters had a training flight directly overhead...good photos though! The villa Casa Marta was everything that we had hoped for...clean, easy to use and well equipped. We were well looked after with sheet and towel changes once a week. Hot water always on tap and efficient...

Podere Ampella is a place where one can find peace of mind and soul. Our family has been there three times since 2012 when we discovered it merely by chance. Far from the maddening crowds of Florence and Siena, yet close to all the most beautiful places in Tuscany, it represents the most unique combination of Tuscan life and history....

Have just returned from a great holiday in Italy with a weeks stay at Podere Ampella. The small complex of converted farm buildings is constructed and maintained to a high standard and well presented and clean on arrival. The rooms are spacious with all amenities including dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioning. The views of the classical Tuscan countryside of...

This property is set in the most glorious Tuscan country side. The views from the garden (private garden with each Villa) was just stunning. Although there were a number of Villas on the site the private garden space gave a sense of privacy and enhanced the tranquility. The pool was of size and had plenty of sun loungers and shade....

Fantastic area, close to the wine districts and beautiful towns. The surroundings are breathtaking, exactly what Tuscany is supposed to be. Very nice and service minded owners and the house was just perfect.

First of all, let me state emphatically that this Villa is in a stunning location. Located on a ridge, surrounded by the Tuscan scenery, and with a nice little pool, one can not ask for more in terms of getting the feeling of La Dolce Vita. However, we had some issues. We had rented a three bedroom place (Villa Montisi)...

We are most disappointed as we work very hard to make sure each customer is looked after however in this instance we must correct the issues raised as they are not fair. The accommodation is self catering so electricity and gas are charged as with most self catering homes. This we always detail at the time of booking on the...

“Casa Beppe and Marta have great views. To be honest all the houses have great views as the owners took us around in October.”

“We stayed at Casa di Sotto so we can only share our opinion related to this house. It is a very nice place to stay for two families with children. We stayed there with my wife + two kids and our friends (2 adults + 2 kids) for fortnight and the house proved to be spacious and cosy for us. All rooms were comfortable enough, air conditioning workded properly in each room. The only problem we had was wifi - the connection was really poor and in practice you would have to go outside the house to send an email.”

“Have a look at the overview of the property before you choose your villa. Some of the villas are facing the pool and it can be pretty noisy, if families with children are also around. If you come off season (no children around), I would choose Casa Beppe. If you are coming with children, Casa Beppe is also a good choice as you have an overview of the pool from the terrace of the house.”
