After 14 years away we returned for a visit. Our son got married here back then in nearby San Giovanni d'Asso in the castle. The staff have changed but the Contessa, owner, is still here. Doriana, the manager, is a charming and efficient woman. Very pleasant and accommodating. You'll experience a slice of life here that I doubt you'll find... More

We stayed here at the Casa Maria for 5 nights this past summer with our two young children ages 9 and 5. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the location being in the heart of Southern Tuscany. We happened to be there during the Palio race in Sienna and Doriana and Lorena gave us lots of great tips for how... More

Dear Reina, Thanks so much for your kind words. Our main goal here at the borgo is to give our guests the feeling of being at "home away from home". We are extremely happy when we succeed and leave our guests many good memories of our region. We look forward to your next stay. Arrivederci! Doriana More

I recently stayed at the Borgo with my family, two girls 7 and 2yrs. When we arrived we had a welcoming greeting from Lorena and she made us feel at home straight away. This is a wonderful place managed by wonderful people. We were touched by the genuine Toscan atmosphere of the place: rustic yet sophisticated, simple yet graceful. The combination of the beautiful and peaceful nature of the location and the charm and tastefulness of the premises simply subjugated all of us. A wonderful address and a memorable moment for all of us.

My husband and I stayed at the Borgo for 4 nights while visiting Tuscany, and it was everything you would imagine a real rustic, Tuscan experience will be. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The Borgo is set in a small village that is pretty much not developed, so you basically end up feeling like you have the... More

We stayed at Lucignanello Bandini for 2 nights during our stay in Tuscany and we could have stayed a lifetime!! Everything about this place was perfect, although you will definitely require a car if you stay here. Essentially a small hamlet, with a number of houses to rent there is nothing to fault. The houses are traditionally Italian and decorated... More

Dear Andrew C, Sorry for replying just now to your kind words. How nice to realize how happy our guests can be here at the borgo! This is our third time at Lucignanello Bandini (over almost 15 years) and, as in previous ocassions, we had a wonderful time. Everything was ....just perfect: the house (Villa Sarageto), the reception, the views, the pool and gardening, the location. There is no need to look for another place in Tuscany....this is it!
