Super! Excellent Service, super friendly staff, dog friendly hotel, very clean and safe, walk distance to the beach, amenities, nice ambiance. There is also a daily menu available and a la carte. Highly Recommend for any type of stay or visit.
It is not easy to find adapted rooms with views. In many hotels the adapted rooms are in the worst places and this hotel has a very nice one. The possibility to go to the beach just a few steps and be able to swim in the pool right there and on the grass. And the pool and spa on the 5th floor with unbeatable views or the very full gym. There is no room for justice in this historic hotel.
We spent a fabulous week at Hotel Terraza with HF Holidays. The hotel was well located: right at the water's edge not far from the main part of town. The décor was pleasant and the good-sized rooms with large balconies looked out onto the beach, sea and surrounds. The staff were fantastic always, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant or leading stretch classes at the beach. The restaurant staff deserve particular praise for their good humour and patience with our large group. The breakfast buffet and dinner service were handled very efficiently and my goodness there was someone talented in that kitchen! For dinner each day we were presented with four or five choices of starter, entrée and dessert and all choices were different from any other day. The food, accompanied by a daily amuse bouche, was as beautiful as it was delicious. We were completely delighted with our accommodation and were sorry to leave at the end of the week.…
The hotel staff are all friendly, multi lingual and helpful. The hotel allows dogs, which as we have two was one reason we stayed. The Hotel is on a large road but is far enough away to not be affected by noise. Opposite the hotel there is a good area to walk dogs away from the road. The town of Roses is pleasant with plenty of restaurants along the promenade. The location is a good base to visit anywhere from Gerona to Barcelona and the local scenery is spectacular
We had an excellent stay in the resort town of Roses at this terrific family operated hotel on the seafront. We were on a hiking trip with HF Holidays and stayed one week along with friends of ours. Each couple was fully satisfied with the room, the food in the hotel restaurant and the warm welcome and professionalism of all of the staff. Here are the key points: LOCATION: The hotel is situated on the busy seafront boardwalk that runs many miles beside the beach and is kept clean and in very good condition. Most rooms have seaviews (and, I think have balconies) with vistas of the expansive bay and its well-kept seafront. We were here in late September and I don't believe that this hotel or its neighbours were fully occupied and this resulted in a quieter and less busy experience, but there were still plenty of visitors to go around. That being said, this is no cheesy, over-developed sea-side resort. It retains a decent level of sophistication because it appears to have had thoughtful management of balancing the size of the hotels with the capacity of the beach and the resort town. The lengthy boardwalk is designed with different pockets of beach, play areas and some artwork too. CLEANLINESS: This hotel is kept immaculately throughout. ROOM: We had a spacious room with plenty of space for a comfortable king-size bed and lots of storage. Our balcony was large with plenty of space for the two chairs and table and plenty of walking around space and had a light for the evening. BATHROOM: Our bathroom was reasonably spacious and had a sink, toilet, bidet and bathtub with bath and shower capabilities. All worked fine - our only minor quibble was that we could not find a way to avoid shower water evading the shortish glass door and escaping to the floor of the bathroom - although we improved on lessening the flood with experience. FOOD: Our accommodation included breakfast and dinners and for a very small extra fee sandwiches for a packed lunch. The hot and cold breakfast buffet was extensive and generally good with a great self-serve coffee maker. Dinners showed off the talented chef and his team with elaborate presentation and generally tasty meals consisting of some catalan specialities and other more continental cuisine. It was served by excellent and very patient wait-staff including Marina whose grandmother (abuela or yaya) was omnipresent at breakfast and throughout the day and kept the entire hotel running like clockwork. Efforts were made to accommodate food allergies or other preferences although a fully developed vegetarian program (i.e. involving inclusion of a reasonable amount of proteins with main course options) would be a clear area for improvement. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: This is a perfectly sized resort hotel, not to big but not too small. It has two pools (one on the roof in the spa area) a number of public rooms that are airy and a great outside terrace excellent for people-watching or just chilling. Guests are made to feel welcome and treated to a high standard of service in a relaxed but elegant environment. We would gladly stay here again.…
Like most people we want friendly staff, clean hotel, value for money and in our case, free parking. Hotel Terraza ticks every box and more. We think it offers the best location in Roses, on the beach and walking distance to the town for all the bars and restaurants. This was our second visit and we were just as pleased as we were for our first, great hotel.
First to inform the readers: we were no guests at the hotel. We were just looking for a massage. The experience at the SPA was in one word: AMAZING! Making a reservation was very easy through there website and within 10 minutes I had a reply. When we arived at the hotel we were send to the fifth floor (SPA) and were greeted with a warm welcome by Monica. She explained everything and two other staff members performed a amazing massage on us (murmur of love). If you are looking for a masage in Roses I would really recommend this place. If you are shocked because it is a little bit more expensive... trust me it's worth it compared to the other massage salons. The expertise and the service of Terraza compared to the rest is absolutely amazing!
Myself and two friends used the spa at this hotel twice during the last week of April 2019. The service was outstanding and being seasoned users of spas we all felt this was one of the best we had ever used. The hotel is also lovely. I would thoroughly recommend it.
The rooms are spacious and have a self catering corner for coffee or thee. Beds are excellent and the bath room (with tub) ans shower appliance is very luxury. There is a spa and wellness facility on the 5th floor.
This long established yet modern hotel has an ideal position on the beach just five minutes amble from the start of the town centre. Bedrooms quite spacious, many with great views and lots of indoor and outdoor spacious areas to relax in over a drink. Outdoor pool in garden area opposite beach with the spa on the top floor giving fantastic views. Sauna, steam room, spa bath and rather small pool. Lots of relaxation treatments on offer as well as complimentary yoga, stretching etc classes. The two outstanding features for me were the staff (who were both professional and friendly) and the standard of the food at dinner. Plethora of local dishes of all sorts, not just tasting good, but really well presented...one of the best culinary experiences we have had in a hotel on holiday. The breakfasts were pretty good as well.…
