We loved the tour and had a wonderful time. However, if you are looking for luxury hotels, this is not the tour to book. I would not say any of the hotels were dirty, but a few of them were not very updated. For example, needing new carpet, updated bathroom fixtures, etc. On the other hand, we always had hot water, staff were very accommodating, and free breakfasts were adequate. I guess I would say that two of the hotels were nice, and the rest were "just adequate" as you say. The tour as a whole was a good value--we saw and did a lot. It is a quite fast-paced, always on-the-go kind of trip. If you have any more questions, I'm happy to help. Good luck!
