I wasn't sure what to expect as there wasn't many great reviews for this hotel. We enjoyed a large room with two queen beds for $150 per night for two people. The room was clean and modern. Free wifi though did not work on the phone but on the laptop it did. The toilet seat Was a bit wobbly and...

I stayed in the deluxe room, it was roomy with two queen beds, beds were comfortable with clean crisp good quality sheets and pillows. The room was nice and clean, bathroom roomy, bath although shorter was very deep, water hot and plentiful. The price was very reasonable. Would stay there again. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Their were noisy...

The location was perfect for the occasion and just an overnight stay Very comfortable, very clean a modern decor in the room whilst the remainder of the facility is somewhat dated Very good value for money

We only needed a bed and bathroom for a few nights and this hotel was fine for what we wanted. The room was quite spacious and both that and the bathroom facilities were clean. I can see why one familty was disappointed, expecting a "resort" type hotel, which this is definitely not. There are tennis courts but the outdoor swimming...

Love it clean and well care for and the room as nice and big for Sydney, close to the beaches so not far to drive, it had a beautiful pool spa and sauna, the only thing was it was a double bed but other than that very nice and cheap compare to other places around, had breakfast at flower power...

We had a great room with excellent service. I was reluctant to stay here after reading a few bad reviews but glad I did. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Not sure about it being a resort but it does offer pool, tennis, sauna and a bar. The only thing I could fault was I thought a restaurant was attached but...

Surprising for a motel the conditions were better than what I hoped. Rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious enough. Buffet breakfast ok but a bit expensive for the range. Pool area needs a bit of an upgrade but otherwise ok. Pleasant staff. Would recommend for a short term stay.

The room was adequate for our family. The room was clean and presented well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was small and the curtain didn't cover the whole window. It was conveniently located for our needs but a little on the pricey side.

Needed an overnighter and this place was cheap, nice staff (only met one person) rooms were refurbished and nice, the cleaning of the lovely new bathrooms let them down though. Soulless bar area but the happy hour was okay with reasonable beers available.

Very mixed feelings about Checkers. Yes it is getting old & shabby but this is no reason to be unpleasant to guests. Had pre- organised early 1pm check in to be ready for a wedding & greeted with unpleasant man who was just plain rude. Have to admit that the lady who serviced our room was nice with a problem...
