Very good located family friendly hotel. compared to a normal 3star hotel I was negatively surprised by the cleanness of the room. Breakfast was ok. The area is beautiful, there is a nice park on the beach, with a playground for the kids.

It was outdated in the eighties, and nothing changed since then. If you're looking for how communist hoteliers treated their local guests, this is the place: no amenities, dirty rooms, squeaky floors, uncomfortable beds, sagging power outlets. The only contemporary thing here is the free wifi.

It's all in the location. If you don't like crowds, if you travel with your dogs, if you like long walks close to your hotel, this is the place for you. Perfect for watching the sunset or play badminton. However: be careful with your booking, bc they might not give you the type of room you booked (terrace-no terrace, view...

Retro can be ok, but this place has not been renovated, and even worse, not cleaned since it was built! Lousy service completes this ( no towels in the room. "They will arrive", then some hours later we got a flegmatic "we did not get them delivered today" with no solution). Location could be wonderful, but avoid this place until...

Stayed for 6 nights with the family. This is a very commercialized resort with lots of shops, restaurants and activities on site, which can be a good or a bad thing, depending on your taste. Good location, 15 km from Siófok which offers a great an affordable sunset cruise, also a short drive to the ferry to Tihány, a beautiful...

It was a good place around the '70-s, but now its a retro place, with high hopes, but without money. You could go there, but be careful, because its unpredictable. There is no guarantee for a good holidays. There is a lot of better place on lake Balaton.

Don't go to Club Aliga if you're looking for a Western European style resort holiday. If however you want to see how Hungarians spend their summer holidays (or perhaps more correctly, used to spend their summers back in Communist times) this is a truly interesting experience. Lake Balaton is warm, shallow (superb for young children) with a sandy bottom and...

Located at a brilliant quiet location, the hotel has it's own massive park. The only downturn is the access, walking distance is 30 mins form Balatonaliga train station. It is advised to have a car or a bicycle if you want to get around. Taxis are not really available and really expensive around the Balaton. Expect mutiple prices of Budapest....

I found this place on the internet and reading of the history of it just had to stay there even though I suspected it may be risky! Actually it was better than expected. The whole complex is massive and there is a nice marina and acres of open spaces and woodland to find some peace and quiet as in the...

I booked to stay at Club Aliga from 25th September. The address of the hotel is Balatonvilagos so I got off the train at that station. Wrong ! The hotel is in fact 3 km away in Balaton Aligos. I had to walk for 45 minutes as there were no taxis. When I eventually found the hotel (it is not...
