Glad you enjoyed your stay and very glad you enjoyed the music and food.. Yes, We are at the edge of the world and well placed for sunsets, walking the beaches and cliffs as well as bird-watching and enjoying our nature reserve. Re the 4 pm check-in. We cannot be at home all day seven days a week in case someone turns up early. We need time in the early afternoon to go to Stornoway for shopping or undertake other needful activities or even just get some fresh air. I guess Italian B&B's (like hotels) generally will have a change of staff or extra staff to cover the middle of the day. We do not have this luxury. Once we have made and served breakfast, cleared and cleaned after guests and prepared for the new arrivals we do need to go shopping for fresh ingredients or even have an hour or two of down time!. From about 4 pm we tend to be busy welcoming guests, preparing dinner, serving, cleaning and setting breakfast before we can sit down....Hence the note about 4 pm check-in and the suggested things to do if you arrive very early. Thank you for helping to make our guests aware of this and we hope to have the pleasure of meeting you again one day.

he Decca is a very friendly and welcoming place to spend a few days. Pete and Louise are very hospitable, warm and approachable. The bedroom was large and airy, with s splendid view of the nature reserve, and the lounge area was relaxing and a good place to chat before dinner.
