Host Elana, greeted us at this special B&B place and settled us in for a 2 night stay. The winding entrance to this property ended in an extremely quaint homestead. We were a party of four and our bedrooms on the first floor were beautifully furnished and the beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom could not be faulted. The only draw back was the access by a set of steep stairs and the freight train that thunders by...

We had a great stay in Awatuna on 12 Feb. The hostess Trixi was great and made ourselves felt home the very minute we arrived. We had a great dinner there. After 3 weeks touring NZ with the warmest and friendly places we stayed in , this was the last and worst.
