The other reviewers here wax eloquent about this B&B and for good reason. All that is said about the delightful family, the locale, the rooms, the breakfast, and the warmth and openness shared here is true. Be willing to experience the road less taken to stay in this wonderful place.

We spent three nights in early October with Christian, Amy, Katarina and Zuccha, the irrepressible Viszla. Home made jellies from their trees, a Prosecco-Pinot brew from local vineyards. A lovely breakfast set out in the morning at the hour of our choosing. We were mostly there for some exploring and Christian drew maps, gave us trail-markers and good advice as... More

A beautiful home, a wonderfully hospitable family in an idyllic location right at the base of the Dolomites--who could as for more?? Alla Casetta is a charming bed and breakfast in a home that was built by the proprietor's grandparents many decades ago. Christian and Amy have refurbished it and have missed no detail in the simple, elegant decorating. Just... More

Aren't you tired of all the crowds in Tuscany, Venice, Rome? Get away to the undiscovered, beautiful part of Italy in the foothill of the Dolomites. There is nearby hiking and kayaking with stunningly beautiful and rugged views everywhere you look. Christian can put you in contact with all the local activities. Christian and Amy are an absolutely lovable couple... More

If you listen close enough you can hear the heartbeat of the Dolomites reverberate Christian and his lovely family's soul. He is the guardian of this otherworldly paradise, and while he calls Alla Cassetta a B&B, it is so very much more that that! What they have done is not only to have opened up a portal to one of... A rather narrow road lead to the house which resided in a little deep between the woods and next to a river (which you could hear at all times.) The place was held by Christian, who knows the surroundings really well and always has suggestions as to where to go. He also speaks excellent english. If we could give stars... More

Staying a week at Alla Casetta B&B was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We enjoyed long nature walks and the sound of the river from our apartment window. Being only 3 kilometers from Feltre, we visited their museums and restaurants often, just for a change of pace. The owners were making their own prune marmalade and baking bread... More

My son and I arrived at Alla Casetta initially intending to stay for a night or two and ended up staying for four, which should tell you a lot about how much we liked it. The owner, Christian, and his wife Amy were extraordinarily hospitable and very helpful with lots of suggestions about activities in the area, from wine-tasting to... More

We have stayed here many times, and would recommend it to anyone. Christian and Amy are excellent hosts (they have been called super-hosts) who welcome all their guests with warmth and hospitality. The rooms are always spotless and the beds are comfortable. There are many outdoor activities nearby, and Christian will help you figure out anything. Whether you want a... More

The location for the Alla Casette B&B in the middle of nature is absolutely magnificent. The only sounds you hear is of the small river nearby. For me it was the perfect spot to relax and to enjoy nature. Conveniently near Feltre and other smaller cities. The location provides ample opportunities for sports like trekking. The hosts were extremely friendly,... More
