We had a Groupon one night break here with breakfast. Lovely outlook and our room (No. 2) was a good size, comfortable and clean. I think the bedroom would benefit from a bit of re-decorating (carpet and bit of mould in shower) but I think this is a very small mention compared to overall stay. Everyone was very friendly and...

We've just returned from a really enjoyable overnight stay at The Ship Inn. We visited with friends and booked 2 double rooms and also reserved a table for evening meal. We all thought this place was great, the rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable, the food was very good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was so...

Because the pub where we usually meet our son was full, we looked around on TripAdvisor for an alternative. This pub was close to our original choice and had availability, so we booked. We turned up prompt at noon and were very pleasantly surprised, the premises are attractive and a log burner was roaring. It's not a carvery, and choices...

We were initially assisted with a changed booking, we were welcomed and shown to a large, comfortable, clean bedroom and en suite that had everything we needed - including a decent TV. We stayed in and ate in the spacious bar which was busy, even on a Monday evening. The food was excellent, and obviously freshly prepared. The staff were...

This is a pub with accommodation and as such met our needs, we weren't expecting hotel quality. However, we were very happy with the location which is 10 min drive to Spalding and for us only 30 mins from home. There is an adequate car park to the side and we easily parked. The arrival time should be 5pm onward...

The Ship is a modern pub with large, en-suite attic bedrooms. The well equipped bar area doubles as a breakfast room. Evening meals and breakfasts are tasty, and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a function room/restaurant on the 1st floor with a balcony overlooking the tidal part of the River Glen. Across the road there...

Booked through Groupon but didn't expect to be treated as a second class visitor. On arrival we were given the option of 7.30 or 8.10 breakfast! I explained we were having a small relaxing holiday and didn't expect to get up that early. "So, 7.30 or 8.10" was the response - apparently "she" can only cope with one table at...

Good afternoon Hazel Thank you for taking the time to review your visit with us. We're saddened to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have been trialing a breakfast slot system but feedback such as that from yourselves has proven its not a good idea. We have listened to your feedback and are going back...

Friendly inn on the Lincolnshire fens not far from Spalding. We stayed or 3 nights and would recommend for a restful break. Good full English for breakfast, comfortable rooms, we stayed in room 1. Large bathroom. Not far from several good shopping centres and plenty to do and see in the area however we found some attractions were not open...

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the hotel last night as a last minute booking made yesterday afternoon! We were welcomed by a lovely cosy warm atmosphere in the restaurant with winter candles burning in the hall with an amazing smell. The room itself was large with loads of space to put your things. Shower and bed were great too....

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right by the river so there are nice walks and views across Lincolnshire. The only downside to the hotel is that there is no lift and rooms are all on 3rd floor - not easy when you...
