Another wonderful stay at Cotenham Barn in the Long Barn. As always Jill & Phil looked after us, we enjoyed the lovely surroundings, beautiful garden, hot tub and a hearty breakfast each morning which we added on. Long Barn has everything you need, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lost count on the number of visits we are up to. Instant relaxation as soon as you arrive. The children love watching the cows in the nearby field, looking at the chickens and Guinea pigs. Always a joy to stay here and always sad to leave.

As always a very friendly welcome from Jill and Phil , staying in the spacious family room , with a king size bed and lounge area. Jills breakfasts are amazing , try the homemade granola with yoghurt and berries, a great way to start the day ready to explore the Norfolk Broads and coast.

What a delightful, peaceful place to stay. We stayed in the garden barn and it had everything you could possibly want. Bed so comfortable, fully equipped kitchen and great bathroom. Spent much time in the hot tub which is shared with one other barn but we had it to ourselves while we stayed. Phil and Jill the hosts were very friendly, made recommendations for restaurants and shops and always asked how our day had been when we returned. We booked this short stay to switch off from a busy life and we were able to do this in the wonderful gardens and outside area at Cotenham. We will certainly be visiting again in the future.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here for 4 nights. Stayed in the Long Barn . It was clean and comfortable. Furnishings are great , beds comfy and kitchen has everything you could need albeit my wife missed having her morning Nespresso coffee ! Bathrooms were super clean and the supplied linens great quality . The gardens here are really well landscaped and a very relaxing environment to sit in . The hot tub was good to have access to. There are great walks nearby and we walked to Ranworth daily along a path behind the barn. Jill and Phil are great hosts . We would definitely stay again in future .

This is our second visit to Cottenham Barn, and again our stay has been excellent. The self catering accommodation was spotlessly clean, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was available in both the en suite and bathroom, and a lovely welcome hamper with eggs, jam, tea, coffee etc… in the kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept, thank you for having us, we have booked to return again in the autumn, and would highly recommend to friends & family.

We stayed for two nights in the Nook which over looks the garden and pond. What a lovely place, So peaceful and relaxing. The Nook had everything you needed for your stay which included a lovely surprise in the welcome basket with homemade bread and jam and eggs which was delicious. The Nook was spotlessly clean and nice and cosy. The hosts Jill and Phil were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

This was our fifth visit to Cotenham Barn and it never fails to impress. Jill and Phil are the perfect hosts and go above and beyond for their guests. We have stayed in the house, in the Garden Cottage and in the Long Barn. Family members have also stayed in The Nook and, whichever space you choose, the room will be impeccable. This time, we enjoyed 3 nights celebrating our friend’s 40th birthday. We opted for a cooked breakfast two mornings which we would definitely recommend as it will completely set you up for the day and is absolutely delicious. As always, the grounds are beautifully maintained and it’s lovely to enjoy the stars from the comfort of the hot tub. Can’t wait to book to return.

Cotenham Barn B&B and Self Catering Accommodation is situated on the edge of the Norfolk Broads in the small village of Panxworth to the east of Norwich. It really is a pure “gem”. Converted barns provide 3 separate self catering appartments, whereas the B&B is within the main house with separate guest entrance. We were very lucky to stay in the Garden Cottage which over looks a beautifully well kept garden, with a degree of privacy from the other accommodations. There is a small west facing terrace with outdoor table and chairs, and the cottage comes the use of the hot tub in the garden, which is neatly screened off. The Garden Cottage is spacious with a bedroom cum lounge housing a very comfortable king size bed, 3 seater leather sofa, ample hanging and drawer space, a desk, small dining table, nest of tables and TV cabinet equiped with a large flat screen TV and a DVD player. The room has light colour laminated wood flooring and matching furniture. There are vertical blinds plus curtains at the two windows making this room private, whilst staying very light and airy. The adjoining kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with appliances and utensils as well as the owners providing freshly laid eggs (from their own hens), home baked bread, fresh flowers, coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolates all adding to the appeal. The bathroom is wheel chair friendly with a spacious flat access wet room shower, low level sink and WC. Again the decoration in both the kitchen and bathroom areas is to a very high standard, and there are lovely fluffy white towels and robes/slippers for the hot tub. The location is quiet, and we certainly enjoyed a great nights sleep during our stay. The owners, Jill & Phil, have truly made this delightfully peaceful accommodation part of their property as guests can enjoy their large gardens & the pond, which attracts all sorts of wildlife. It's close to all the highlights of the Norfolk Broads, Norwich, and the beautiful East Norfolk coastline.
