My friend and I recently went to the Hydro Majestic wanting to have high tea but when we saw Eastern tea as an option we thought we'd try that instead. For $70 you definitely don't get your money's worth. The food was fairly average and there didn't seem to be much of it. The patrons who ordered high tea didn't... More

Amazing Place the views are breath taking, just a charming place to stay. Walking through the Majestic gives you the feel of the historic past and all its splendor. The rooms are good but with issues, I have never been in such a cold bath room as the one i was in at the hydro, I virtually had to were... More

I wish i could provide a better review for what is potentially an amazing hotel. I am not really sure where to start, but here i go from arrival. 1. Upon Arrival you proceed to what looks like the Grand Entrance to an amazing hotel, to find you are directed into another large dining room through a side door, as... More

If you are in the area of this wonderfully breathtaking place, then do visit if you can. Even if the weather is cool, there is a warmth that greets you and sturdy windows shelter you from the blustery winds if need be.

Had a lovely weekend, just a short drive from Sydney starting with complimentary canapés and drinks in Cats Ally where I used to run up and down as a kid. Brought back lots of wonderful memories and we had a great time in the Mountains with good friends.

We took part in the Hydro's History Tour as a group. The Tour took just on one hour and was so informative that we all would have liked more. The Concierge not only took us through the various areas of the building, explaining its history, but also shed interesting lights on the development of this area of the Blue Mountains.... More

I was so excited to go there as we have stopped there on our way to the mountains in the past but they put money ahead of guests and customer service. I will never again book with them. They need to be more flexible.

Newly renovated! But unfortunately you cannot see all the hotel now in all its beauty.Last time we were there we could go into the gorgeous stained glass wonderful bar (which is now hidden away for functions)? Unfortunately there is also a grand tent at the front (also for functions)? The Casino entrance is beautiful & you can then continue into... More

Nice view overlook the mountains and village but that is it. I understand it is a 100+years old property but it need to be maintained, room is small and the bathtub in our room looked worn, I won't take a bath in it. No lift there, not good for older people.
