Book directly for great discounts and experience packages ! The hotel is a renovated 18th Century olive oil and flour mill , just five minutes from the historical mountain village of Ronda, making it a perfect base for visiting the famous white villages and only about an hour away from Cadiz, Malaga, Jerez and Seville. It is a great area for country activities - walking, cycling, birdwatching, paragliding & horseriding. Also a great favourite with motorbike enthusiasts with the beautiful windy country roads.

The place was very quiet and calm, but near to Ronda (10 mins by car). The attention was excellent thanks to Elaine (the owner) and all that was used in the room worked perfectly (TV, shower, Air conditioner, etc).
Was a very good stay.

We have just returned from a mini break which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were impressed from the start by this charming hotel and the care taken to welcome us by Elaine.
The room with its riverside terrace was spotlessly clean and the cava and strawberries we had ordered made our first afternoon a delightful start to our mini break.
The evening meal was a barbecue expertly cooked by Ian.The service was efficient and friendly and portions were generous and tasty.

Breakfasts were also very good with bacon and eggs cooked to order.a nice touch as is the freshly made coffee.
Continental breakfast is served alongside this setting you up for the day.
Self service teas, coffees and cakes are available in the afternoons another welcoming touch.
On our first day a bodega visit and tasting had been specially arranged and we enjoyed this very much.
For setting ,food and the personal touch this is a gem of a hotel to chill out or to explore the local area. We will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending
it.

Very atmospheric, bijou hotel. Near Ronda and set in vineyards. We visited with the idea of trying the local wines, we were not disappointed, with the Hotel owners arranging one tour and tasting for us nearby, who came and picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel afterwards, an excellent experience. We arranged a further wine tour to a nearby (5 minute stroll) vineyard which was very informative and tasty. There are many vineyards in the area, of an up and coming DO. The hotel owners were fantastic as were the staff. The hotel is located near a main road and a railway line the noise from these can annoy some people, for us it was unobtrusive. Look out for the flock of sheep grazing around, they are used to keep the weeds down in the organic quality vineyards. Some bits of the hotel furniture and fittings were looking tired, my only comment BUT the evening meal at the hotel was absolutely first class. Quality dishes reflecting local cuisine and products with an expert chef’s touches which astounded at times. Highly recommended to eat and stay.

Rural hotel in the sense that it's not in the city, but very near the activity of Ronda, with an easy car ride to convenient parking. Very quiet relaxing hotel with on property parking, two patio areas and a small bar and restaurant. Free breakfast with chef cooked bacon and eggs brought to your table and a buffet set up with fresh fruit and house baked cakes, yogurt and muesli, ham, cheese and wonderful coffee. Please have your evening meal here. The menu will surprise you. The dining room buzzes with hotel guests and locals enjoying the evening. And as amazing as all of that is, it is secondary to the couple that own, operate, cook and graciously host this place.

This visit was just what we needed after all the stresses of Covid 19. A few days relaxing and enjoying the hospitality of Ian and Elaine. The procedures they have in place with regards to Covid 19 were very well done and we felt safe. We had a double bedded room with a large terrace and were able to dine in their restaurant La Cascade where the food was excellent.
We love this hotel and will be returning shortly.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant run by friendly and efficient Elaine, Ian and staff.
Lovely comfortable clean rooms, excellent reasonably priced home cooked meals.
Great location for our birdwatching trip (we had rooms with terraces overlooking a small stream, with a resident kingfisher!).
We hope to return!

We have eaten at this hotel many times but had the opportunity to stay on this trip.
Delightful friendly hosts and food as wonderful as ever.
The rooms are spotless with comfy beds and high quality bedding. The bathroom had a good shower.
Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room and also in the library to help yourself at any time which is a lovely touch.
Friendly bar area for pre or post dinner drinks or both!
Hosts have been ion the area for a long time so very knowledgeable with advice for places to go and visit locally. Lots of great walks locally too.

Back in Ronda at last so had to revisit Hotel Molino del Puente for an evening meal and the menu was as varied and delicious as ever. Well worth a visit.
We were lucky enough to be there when they had music playing in the courtyard and we were eating outside on a warm October evening- bliss!
Very friendly hosts Elaine and Ian who does all the cooking. Fabulous- thank you!

A very homey feel with Elaine and Ian who really care deeply about their customers! They were very accommodating and even transported us to and from Ronda as we traveled by bus. It a lovely converted inn where once olive oil was processed. Our room came with a huge terrace to relax on which we enjoyed tremendously. The food was fabulous and served with a flair and lots of variety to choose from. Each afternoon we had a treat in the cozy living room with a beverage. We did the 3 night hiking adventure as they team with a local outdoor adventure small business. In advance we had an option of hiking one day and touring Acinipo Roman Ruins and Cueva la Pileta’s (caves) and Heather, the guide picked us up in her van and again she did a fabulous job narrating our adventure in the comfort of a small van. It was just us for most of us and we loved the small venue!

How easy is it to park a car in Ronda if we choose a hotel outside the city?
Fleet, United Kingdom31 contributions4 helpful votes
We do it every year. There are several underground car parks near to the city centre which are easy to park in. Ask the hotel if you have any doubts.
