Book directly for great discounts and experience packages ! The hotel is a renovated 18th Century olive oil and flour mill , just five minutes from the historical mountain village of Ronda, making it a perfect base for visiting the famous white villages and only about an hour away from Cadiz, Malaga, Jerez and Seville. It is a great area for country activities - walking, cycling, birdwatching, paragliding & horseriding. Also a great favourite with motorbike enthusiasts with the beautiful windy country roads.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant run by friendly and efficient Elaine, Ian and staff. Lovely comfortable clean rooms, excellent reasonably priced home cooked meals. Great location for our birdwatching trip (we had rooms with terraces overlooking a small stream, with a resident kingfisher!). We hope to return!

A very welcoming place and super friendly staff. We were treated superbly the only downside was in trying to get a taxi in and out of the place. Facilities were very good as was the food and pool area, room was very good and up to standard with private bathroom and air conditioning too.

We were given a warm welcome which remained throughout our stay. The room was large, well equipped and had a super comfy bed. Breakfast was spot on, and the on site restaurant served food that was delicious and well priced. The pool was lovely and had plenty of sun loungers to choose from. It’s a short drive, 12-14 minutes to Ronda, and we were given good tips about parking and lunch spots. All in all, a superb place to stay.

A wonderful find. Only visited Ronda for a couple of days and wanted a hotel outside of the town. This is a converted mill and has a wondefrul charm about it that is difficult to describe unless you stay there. Just the place to peacefully relax after touring Ronda. Hats off to Elaine and her team felt like a family environment.

I had an absolutely lovely two days staying here. Elaine and Ian are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable, I loved the pool and all the outside areas, and there were lovely touches such as cake in the library, with tea and coffee. Dinner was really excellent - amazing food cooked on the BBQ, great local wines, and a lovely atmosphere. I can't wait to come back!

We could stay only for dinner in this superb family run restaurant, but what a dinner it was! Chef Ian cooked us both perhaps the most amazing meal in our two weeks in the Andalusia! Bravo!! I simply cannot say enough about the quality, care and talent that went into our culinary joy. The service, by Ian's mom-in-law was completely excellent as well. She guided us through the menu with gentle authority, and the pace of the meal service was peerless. Our only regret is that we did not get a chance to stay at this lovely quiet Hotel about 5-8 minutes out of busy little Ronda! It is a traveler's retreat in every way. We will make sure to book here on our next trip in or near Ronda! For an appetizer we had the Singapore prawns. Just perfect! Then I had the Salmon, also delicious and perfectly presented, a very nice piece of Salmon cooked to perfection, not too much nor too little. My spouse had the Dorada. Also absolutely scrumptuous. We shared a topped brownie. Amazing as well. Every course, and even the wine selections, were beyond reproach. And everything priced very reasonably. We were pleasantly surprised with every bite! Whatever your plans, make sure to book this restaurant when you pass near Ronda.

We stayed up the road from here, we walked down for a drink on the 1st night & came back every night of our stay . Elaine & her staff were very welcoming & lovely. They helped us hugely with getting taxis to the wedding we was attending. Thank you very much! We loved it!

My husband and I stayed here whilst on a cycling holiday. Elaine and Iain are just the perfect hosts who go out of their way to make your holiday as perfect as it can be. We have wined and dined in many excellent restaurants on our travels and we have to say the food served here is absolutely first class, loved every meal we had! The hotel is like home from home, with Elaine and Iain on hand to help in any way that they can, would we come back, absolutely!
