Response from Elaine L, Owner at Hotel Molino Del Puente Ronda

FOR THE RECORD...We don´t usually reply to reviews but on this occasion would like to set the record straight. The storm which flooded our rural hotel and attached house occurred at 9 am on the 21st October. A red alert was issued by the met office, but not until approximately 5 am on the same morning but by the time we saw the report it was too late. As it turned out the flood was the worst recorded for 65 years and we could not have known how bad it was going to be. As soon as any flooding began all he guest were moved to the upper floor of the hotel and were never in any danger. During this time both the staff and ourselves did everything to make sure our guests were as comfortable as possible. As soon as the main road outside the hotel was unblocked we helped them move to another local hotel which we had organised. The reviewer stayed in her 2nd storey heated room until 4.30 pm when we helped her move to the other hotel. She did miss breakfast and I hope she will forgive us for that under the circumstances. The hotel is now dry, beautifully refurbished and and opening in February....yours without bitterness, Ian and Elaine

You will not be disappointed with staying at this hotel. The staff are all wonderful and go out of their way to help you. Ian and Elaine have done a fantastic job and really look after you. The food from the restaurant is just some of the best I have tried.

Outside Ronda you have to reach there by car.. It is a comfortable village. They offer you dinner which is delicious but a bit expensive. The room was big and clean. They have a garden an a pool. The workers were nice.

We were made more than welcome during our stay at Molino Del Puente. The restaurant, La Cascada was excellent and they offered to adapt non vegetarian dishes on their menu to cater for us.A lovely surprise was the coffee and cake in the afternoon.

Las vistas son geniales, dan al puente y al riachuelo
We do it every year. There are several underground car parks near to the city centre which are easy to park in. Ask the hotel if you have any doubts.

Ik weet niet of het hotel een transfer aanbied. Het parkeren in Ronda gaat. Er zijn diverse parkeerplaatsen en een parkeergarage.
