Why would they put anyone in this room? It smells of fried food which became stronger and more over powering towards midnight last night. The pounding music from the nightclub below started at 11 PM, and I was told it would continue until 2 AM...More

I just returned from the hotel yesterday...so here are your answers. You have your base daily room charge. There is a 9% sales tax on the base room charge. You also have a 18% Resort Fee on the base daily room charge. You also have the 9% sales tax on the Resort Fee. This becomes your total daily room charge. The resort fee is not per person.
The only repairs that were being completed on the exterior were:
1. completing the bar area at Aquarelle Restaurant next to the beach. It was scheduled to be open the day I left and open on 12/29.
2. Completing exterior of Cana restaurant which faces the pool. It sure looked like they were done the day before I left as they finished painting and installed all the lighting on 12/27. I am guessing that is will be done by 12/31 at the latest.
The hotel is up and running and construction is not an issue. It wasn’t an issue during my 5 night stay.
I hope this helps you!
