This lovely b and b took a bit of tracking down, but we are old school and don't use a sat nav. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to the lounge/breakfast room. There was a water cooler and cakes and we were told to help ourselves. Our room wasn't huge but plenty of room for the dogs...

I'll keep this short because if you read the other reviews they've pretty much covered everything. Cliff greeted us and is extremely friendly couldn't do enough for us, showed us around and offered cakes etc, the room is spotless and very comfortable, the shower is to die for, especially when you arrive freezing cold, that was very welcome. In a...

Location Old school house is in the middle of nowhere and would need a car to stay, however the location is easy to find. Set in beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Checking in Owner extremely polite and professional when answering the door, quickly and efficiently shown around the communal area. You are also asked to fill out breakfast requirements at...

We took over all three rooms for two nights to attend a family wedding which worked out perfectly for us. In all there were 5 adults and a baby and there was plenty of space in the three comfortable rooms. Our hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming and the breakfasts each morning were excellent. The location is beautiful surrounded...

I stayed at the Old School B&B for one night during a 2 day trip around Eastern counties of England. At £35 for a double room with en-suite shower/bathroom, this seemed appropriate as was only using the place as a true Bed and Breakfast. Arriving at around 7pm in the evening, I was greeted by the landlord in a friendly...

Very friendly bed and breakfast. Welcomed and offered cakes. Shown sizeable room with garden views. Tea and coffee facilities and Kit Kats. Excellent breakfast and great choice. Especially enjoyed homemade bread which has inspired me to make my own. Thoroughly recommend a stay

The hosts, Cliff and Kirsten, were very friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The room was quite good enough for our purpose. En-suite clean and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic, enough to keep us going all day. Have no hesitation in returning.

The Old School House is run by a couple who have got B&B sorted! On arrival we were taken to the lounge where you could make tea or coffee and help yourself to home made cakes. A really nice touch. The room was comfortable -may be a bit dated - but as it was an overnight stay, this wasn't really...

Very comfortable and welcoming b & b. Lovely welcome with homemade cake and biscuits. Great breakfast and nothing too much trouble. Bit out in the sticks but great for walks. Quiet and peaceful and welcomed our dog. Nearby village pubs do excellent food and lots to do visit in close vicinity.

What a find ! .... I was super jet-lagged and just needed somewhere to recharge for a couple of days .... this B & B was (beyond) perfect !! Small B & B, lovely hosts, comfortable bed, ensuite with wifi ... ticked all the boxes ! But what makes it so special is the incredibly quiet, indeed quaint, countryside. Some...
